The mystery behind what is causing all the trouble. It's a real nail bitter.
There are very few books you can compare it to. It's almost a stand alone.
Exhalent and fun as always.
What happens in LosVages doesn't always stay in Vagas.
Yes I would. Great read/listen a good mix of humor and excitement.
The mix of funny and serious.
I found myself laughing because the lead character "Pitt" is a regular type of guy that responds to crazy situations like a regular guy would. The rest of the characters are not unlike the people I hangout with.
I am married with a teenage son and run my own business. As I am visually impaired, audio books are my life.
I've listened to the whole series and true to form the author produced another good one. Yes it's pretty thick with unbelievability but it suits this book s well. It was loads of fun and and full of action
I really enjoyed this series (and so did my husband). We would plug in my IPhone and listen to it together out on our boat. Was fun & narrated VERY WELL. In fact, don't think the series would have been what it was without him. He didn't do anything 'fancy.' Didn't even change his tone when switching characters but it WORKED.
Definately recommend it!
Light-hearted and fun
Deadpan sense of humor maybe? Hard to pin but he DID make the story!
Listen to them all
Yes. This series has a rich and compelling story. There are small details which are important.
He's able to do some amazing accents.
The Monster Hunter series is an awesome example of how cool Urban Fantasy can be.
I was sorry to reach the end of this one and was carried along just as well or better as the others. Excellent, great entertainment.
Love the sense of humor and down to earth narration of "Z".
The entrance of "Mangement" was perfect. Hoping that this character survived to make another appearance!!
I like the fact that this narrator has stayed with the series. It is so difficult to switch narrators sometimes. When you hear the familiar voice it's like your friend has returned.
Monster mayhem and high tech ordinance!
I'm not a gun nut or SCTV's 'Blew up real good!" type of red neck but I'm always drawn back to this storyline.
My brother put me on to these and the first one was just okay. But as each book comes out, it gets better!
I'm glad that I stuck it out and to see other characters develop and take the spot light as in real life!
The performance was terrific. I 'see' each character in my minds eye and and know who is saying what.
I'm not going to run out to buy a gun but will get the next story.
Atta' boy Larry! (excerpt from the Ghost and Mr. Chicken)
This installment of the monster hunter series doesn't disappoint, with action, tension, high stakes, cool monsters, a twisty plot, and even some romance thrown in between bursts of automatic gunfire. The international monster hunting scene is explored in this book, character back stories are brought out and examined, and new and exciting ways to die are illustrated. There's loads of suspense and conflict, and the prose smoothly flows keeping you in the story and constantly hooked. Correia won't win awards for poetry, but for fast paced action that grabs you and won't let you go, he's a master.
Gun nuts will love this book too, as he spends time accurately depicting gun use and new gun models and attachments. I loved this series, and this book was a fine example of it.
Probably middle of the road, not quite up there with john rain series, but above the other monster books I've heard
Yes I think I would try another book, I rather enjoyed the first and third books in the series, I also enjoyed hard magic, other than the narrator
Earl, although he didn't play as big a role as I would have liked
I'm waiting to see the next one
