"If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be". Most of us are every day hero's. Never mind the kind. Search for more. Listen.
Good plot turn.
Oh its an original.
Story telling is an art. She brings her art to life.
Think twice before you go into a bar owned by this Irishman. His establishments get targeted alot. Or maybe that's because as Eve might say he owns half the Universe. The odds are just there.
I hope to see many more books. I would love to see Eve and Roark start a family. That could take up maybe 3 books with murder and mayhem and cornering the market on diapers too. It boggles the imagination. :)
I love to listen to the Eve Dallas series and look forward to each new book.
I found myself more disturbed about the graphic topic of this book than ones in the past. I believe it was because of the believable terrorist attack aspect that made it so uncomfortable. That said, it is still a very good listen maybe all the more so because it was so imaginable.
Just more Eve Dallas
Narration so badly done I couldn't get past the 3rd chapter. Ended up buying print version to get it read. Enjoy this series and enjoyed this book, although there was too much background on the story line and not enough involvement and description of the characters I've come to love in this series, nor was there any description to remind readers familiar with the series of the time and place. Readers unfamiliar with series would miss a lot with this one!
This was an awesome addition to the series. J.D. Robb has a great imagination. As always, Susan Ericksen does a superb narration. I recommend the entire In Death series. Go Eve and Roarke!
I'm always on the lookout for a new Eve Dallas book, and usually love her take on the near future and its technology. All of the plots are a stretch, but this one was hard to like and left me a little dis-satisfied. I could certainly do without the obligatory sex scene, and I wish there were an explanation of the urban wars! You can do better than this, J D Robb (for those of you who don't know, pen name for Nora Roberts). Susan Ericksen, as usual, is superb - I can't imagine a better narrator for these characters.
Since I've listened to all of these books, its a given I enjoy them. There wasn't much new as far as characters and the plot was familiar. I'd love it if the author would add new and different twists to this series.
Yes, because I LOVE this series but if you enjoy the relationship between Rourk and Eve, it is missing to a large extent in this book. I will say it is the first with a kind of "twist" ending. Was wondering where it was going when there was more than an hour left when the caught the "bad guy."
The missing interaction between Rourke and Eve
She is always great and so consistent.
Would LOVE a series but no ideas for stars
Please come back with the next one having more of Rourke and Eve.
Gets better and better
I like to see Eve and Roarke develop in their relationship. I have also really like Somerset throughout these books, and it was great to learn a little more about him as well.
Susan Ericson narrate all the In Death books. She doesn't disappoint with this one, either.
Every six months I can't wait to listen to the next installment.
I love JD Robb and this series....but this book was disappointing. It lacked excitement and Dallas and Roarke lacked chemistry this time. This story had great potential.. but it wasn't fulfilled.
