Friends and clients. It holds your attention from the beginning. Great for a car trip.
Have to really think to figure out who was killing these families. I was painting my bedroom and the time flew by.
Trying to figure out what was happening to the counselor. Suddenly she was crazy. How had the killer gotten to her.
Seeing how some of the helped support each other.
life is a book
Not so much
It wasn't as strong as some of her books, but I enjoyed it. Nice listen for the gym or a walk
yes. to see if there were clues i missed as to the ending
vengeance and money are powerful motivators
the rizzoli and isles series gets better and better with each subsequent book as far as keeping me guessing to the very end. i just never figure it out before tess gerritsen wants it revealed. i thank her for this.
It's up at the top.
Yes, it did. This was a great who done it thriller and would not have guessed the killer.
Did a great job of making the characters personal. I could not stop listening!
This is not my favorite Rizzoli mystery. It starts out with lots of suspense, but then fizzles near the end, with the contorted plot nd cast of characters turning very confusing as well. And on a general note: While I LOVE the convenience of listening to Audible downloads on my iPhone, I continue to wonder why the sound is always just slightly distorted enough (as like playing an old record on a slightly faster speed than indicated) to be annoying. Usually the plot and story are intriguing enough to off set this problem, but that was not the case for me with this book.
Compromised by sound quality
This wasn't a waste of time, but I wouldn't recommend it. I didn't really enjoy the narrator. The finish of the story was anti-climatic to the rest, although there was one little twist that was satisfying.
It's definitely one of the best audible books I've listened to. I listen in my lunch hour and had to turn it off with 50 minutes to go - but I JUST COULDN'T DO IT. So I listened to it holding my hand over my ear even tho I'm on a switchboard. I just had to turn my iPad off every time a call came in. It was truly great with some real twists & turns - especially at the end.. I loved it. Also Tanya Eby is such a good narrator - I'm definitely going to look out for her
40 minutes from the end -to say more would give it away - great ending, totally out of nowhere
This was a great listen. This was the first book I have listened to by this author and would like to get another. I love the show so was not to fond of the accents that were portrayed. Overall, I would recommend this book.
Gerritsen takes her two characters and combines them in a complicated way in this story. It provides an amazing look at the two women, Rizzoli and Isles, in an unusual way. Isles is still connected to the child who helped her survive in the wilderness and Rizzoli is connected to another child who also needs help. I liked the basic plot and its setting which is quite different ( I won't give it away to future readers). The writing of the attitude of teenages is very spot on. Best of all is the performance. Rizzoli's accent always identifies her and when conversations occur, the reader uses excellent mannerisms to deliniate the characters. I haven't quite finished it so I can't spoil the ending but so far it is a winner.
