Yes, it kept you guessing who the bad guy was throughout the book. It also had a bit of humor to lighten the seriousness and suspense.
I would have to compare it to Ice Cold because of the relationship dynamics between Maura and Jane, as well as Maura's maternal feelings toward Julian.
Her performance of the main characters is so believable. I cannot imagine Maura and Jane sounding any different than Eby's interpretation of them.
No, my attention span doesn't allow for that.
Yes I would. It was quite an involved story line and quite honestly, I sort of lost the thread in the middle.
Interesting story and didn't have an expected ending.
Tanya was very good. I really enjoyed her narration.
Will keep you guessing till the end.
I will definitely read this author again.
I mostly listen to books while exercising, which pretty much explains all of the action/thrillers on my list.
A little bit lightweight, but a good listen for a day of housework or some treadmill time. Takes a bit of getting used to if you, as I did, started with the T.V. show.
Friends and clients. It holds your attention from the beginning. Great for a car trip.
Have to really think to figure out who was killing these families. I was painting my bedroom and the time flew by.
Trying to figure out what was happening to the counselor. Suddenly she was crazy. How had the killer gotten to her.
Seeing how some of the helped support each other.
life is a book
Not so much
It wasn't as strong as some of her books, but I enjoyed it. Nice listen for the gym or a walk
yes. to see if there were clues i missed as to the ending
vengeance and money are powerful motivators
the rizzoli and isles series gets better and better with each subsequent book as far as keeping me guessing to the very end. i just never figure it out before tess gerritsen wants it revealed. i thank her for this.
It's up at the top.
Yes, it did. This was a great who done it thriller and would not have guessed the killer.
Did a great job of making the characters personal. I could not stop listening!
This is not my favorite Rizzoli mystery. It starts out with lots of suspense, but then fizzles near the end, with the contorted plot nd cast of characters turning very confusing as well. And on a general note: While I LOVE the convenience of listening to Audible downloads on my iPhone, I continue to wonder why the sound is always just slightly distorted enough (as like playing an old record on a slightly faster speed than indicated) to be annoying. Usually the plot and story are intriguing enough to off set this problem, but that was not the case for me with this book.
Compromised by sound quality
This wasn't a waste of time, but I wouldn't recommend it. I didn't really enjoy the narrator. The finish of the story was anti-climatic to the rest, although there was one little twist that was satisfying.
