Great story - definitely keeps the reader engaged. But...maybe the story goes a bit too far into the truly unbelievable...?
I love Tess Gerritsen's books and this one was no exception...great story and great action.
Unique plot with a surprising ending.
I pick books based on the story not the narrators voice. I wasn't that crazy about this narrator but the story was good so it was OK.
I get books from Audible so I can listen while I exercise and I never allow myself to listen when I am not exercising because the book is my reward for working out! However I did get pretty impatient to find out the ending of this one.
I think readers of the series might spend their time better by skipping this one. The heroines have become incredibly naive and gullible. The story is a mass of intricate and ultimately unbelievable contrivances.
This was my first listen of a Rizzoli & Isles novel. Truly suspenseful and enjoyable. I listened in my car and it made the time fly by.
Would defnitely recommend to a friend. The story was right on par with what I expect from this series. It held my interest until the very end.
A better story and proof reading. Too many times are we told that Julian is the closest Maura has to a son, we are taken back to the Ice Cold book. I have read that book, I don't need for that story to be mentioned again and again.
The same phrases are used repeatedly, and I am really surprised Tess Gerritsen is releasing this.
Normally I am caught by her books, but not this one, it was rather hard to finish.
Probably, I like her other books.
I love Scott Brick, so he would be my first choice. I didn't particular like some of Tanya Eby's voices for this book.
I was missing the quality I have come to expect from Tess Gerritsen
Myst/thrillers and ✨fun fantasies✨are my favorites but always open for a good story.
This was my first book in this series and my first by this author, however I watch the series on TV and like it very much. I thought the storyline was pretty good and moved at a good pace but the beginning of the book was much better than the end. Towards the end it became a little predictable, it had two twists which I only suspected one of. I liked the characters but the narrators male voices were not for me. All in all a good read.
Although I really enjoy Tess Gerritsen's story telling, this one wasn't one of her best. Seemed a bit convoluted, and confusing at times.
Story was slow and not compelling. Didn't care about the characters.
Kyra Davis, John Sandford
Not worth the money.
