I'm a fantasy fan! I love anything that will get me out of reality if only for a little while. :o)
A story about a wonderful gift. Teaches a wonderful lesson about life. A book that has touched my heart and soul.
Great story about time. Mitch does it again makes you think as the story goes on. Glad it has a good ending.
Dan Stevens is quite a remarkable narrator. The story leads you on as you are captured by the inner torment of the characters all the while feeling hopeful for a happy ending yet wondering just how it will happen. One for my bookshelf of favorites.
Mitch Albom's perspective of time and it's influence on the human experience/condition is enlightening, refreshing and at the same time troubling. One must take pause to consider if this story is truly fiction or non-fiction.
Thank you Mitch. You have quite the Blessed talent.

This story weaves three completely different lives and thoughts about time together. It is slow to start and the stories seem boring or trivial in the beginning and you start to wonder if they will ever connect at all until BAM, they do. I really enjoyed the narration of this book and the character of "Father Time".
My favorite character was Dor. Dor is a man who became obsessed with his work, like so many of us, to the exclusion of everything else. He missed out on what was truly important and when he finally had all the time to think about it he stopped worrying about time as a whole. He stopped counting days, hours, minutes, and instead focused in on important moments of his life.
Victor is probably my favorite character that Dan voices if only because he has kind of a scratchy, grumpy, old man quality to him.
There is a character in this book that could be described as an angel. He is the one that leads and guides Dor throughout the novel. I would be interested in having a conversation with this particular character because like Dor I have my own questions about time and existence that I would like to discover some kind of answer too.
This is a great book that really makes you think about time and how you are using it. I highly recommend you listen to this book, you won't regret it.
The end of the story when the characters stop time and look into the future seeing what could be.
His voice is easy to listen to and I loved the character voices
