"Horrible performance!"
Probably not. The story idea sounded cute but the voices were not a good match. I barely finished this one.
I enjoyed the scene where they were playing cards and raiding the vending machine while getting to know each other.
Absolutely not! I haven't ever left a bad review, but I couldn't walk away from this book without warning others. Both male and female vocalists were distracting - not to mention the cheesy music and bizarre "sound effects". The male voice is especially weak. He doesn't speak the lines with any integrity to the story. Every time he tries to convince the heroine that he loves her he sounds like he's making a joke. It kind of ruins the romance. Plus he sounds like he's in his early sixties.
I'm not sure I can even comment on the story - it was hard to follow. The clincher that this wasn't done well is that I fell asleep four times in the last 15 minutes. Please don't spend money on this!!!
No it didn't. I can't imagine what it might inspire. It was a cute plot but not plausible.
