The growing friendship between Gin and her sister.
The way the story (other than the whole killing thing) matches life. How trying to keep promises to one person can cause us to lose what we care about the most. Sometimes there are some things you have to do no matter what the costs. How one person can effect so many lives. It also showed how we all have secrets and do you really know everything about someone.
I love how Lauren brings the feelings of each person to life.

If one is a fan of the genre, this is not a bad audiobook to listen to. So yes, I would.
If my friends have not read or listened to any of the previous parts of the series I would not. This book leans heavily on previous books for its narrative to make sense.
Yes, her performance is good. It is engaging and she clearly puts some effort into the characters.
This audiobook is not on par with the previous parts of the series but still engaging and enjoyable enough. It is still a reasonable story, but I don't see an improvement or progression from the rest of the series. Rather same-y.
It is very rare that I love every book in a series, but I can definately say that about this one. I only wish they had the novellas listed here on Audible. Wonderful story and great narration.
I have listened to all of her books
None... This is a story line by itself
Gin and Fin were my favorites
My favorite moment was when Gin torn up Fins car
I am waiting for Book 8 excellent read.. I hope that she does not keep me waiting....
Cannot comment as I didn't read the print version.
When Gin showed up after escaping and almost dying.
When the sisters bonded.
I'm hooked on this series!
I suppose I would because obviously they would have listened to the other six before
I would devote a short chapter to an abstract of what happened in the previous book - and then never mention it again.
The narrater does a great job!!
would have never figured I'd like an assassin
The first 2 books were awsome. Unfortunately, by book 3 it became too repetitive, but I still enjoyed it.
I've enjoyed all the books. But please fewer explanations on past history of prior books. It gets annoying to hear all about the past books. A comment here or there is OK but too many details about the past. Looking forward to the next book, hopefully by then Owen will turn back to the strong man that Gin needs.
I continue to be an avid fan of Estep's Spider Assassin series. The narrator is fantastic and I enjoy the way she portrays the various characters she does for the characters, as well as the pace / oration.
I do hope we'll get to a finale soon though, as there are only so many ways one can spin this, without getting repetitive - thankfully, Estep isn't there yet with this series.
Love to read!
This book was exceptionally good! I really like the series, but was afraid that by Book 7, it would start to get old. There was no need to worry, it was one of the best. There was plenty of action and tension throughout. Estep introduced new characters, but blended them into the past and present with exceptional skill. She has a wonderful ability to create characters that you love to hate. There is new tension between Gin and Owen that isn't completely resolved by the end. It isn't a cliffhanger, but I am definitely looking forward to the next book.
My only complaint about the book is that the story line was a little predictable. This doesn't detract from the book, I just wasn't surprised at all. However, I will probably listen to it again!
