"Excellent Read"
This is a fascinating story and so very well told by the amazing Maya Banks. I also thought the narration was expertly done by Harry Berkeley.
Well worth the price, I loved it.
"Grace and Rio...sigh!"
I loved this audiobook story in which psychic healer Grace, Shay's sister, meets Rio when he comes to her rescue. As part of the protection of KGI, he takes her to his home in Belize to hide her from the men hunting her. They fall in love so deeply, but the outside world interferes and once again they are fighting for each other and for survival. Great narration.
"Echoes at Dawn"
Love it as all the series! And love the narrator Harry Berkeley it infuse the love the fear and the joy to this book! Maya i love all your books snd cant wait to continue this journey of your books absolutlely your in the top list of my favorites!!!!! Next stop Soflly at Sunrise! riverac511
"Did not like this one"
Don't exactly know why but talking to each other through your mind wasn't real to me. Also unrealistic love interest
with no relationship development. Not near as good as other books I've read of hers.
"I like the narrator"
Good addition to a good series. While not about the Kelly's immediate family Rio and Grace fit in quite well.
"A sexy narrator does not hot romance make"
I keep thinking with the story lines Ms. Banks imagines, that she will make a story pop. This just is not the case. I also don't see the tie-in with the title. Ms. Banks' books have p lost a lot of their edge. Although a positive in Echoes at Dawn is that the hero and heroine are both individually strong and as a couple. I did like that Rio was a plainspoken and honorable person. Rio was courageous, solid, and true. He didn’t sugar coat anything with Grace, told her the truth. I I did not like how they seemingly feel in love under the circumstances. Some have said that the hero and heroine's interactions was intense and emotion. I actually did not care about either of them at all and jus wanted the book to be at an end. Sorry May--I give up on your books.
"Its a Formula and it works"
Most romance genre books have a formula that most authors stick to and the series have a formula that the authors stick to. This one is no different. Solid strong male lead, female lead with issues that could prevent her from seeing the love the male lead has to give if you look under the gruff exterior. She finally sees the light and they live happily ever after. This formula suited this book. The characters were charming in their own way and the love story was believable for this genre. The side stories were just as enjoyable. I enjoyed the listen and look forward to more from Maya Banks in this series.
"Fantastic"
Yes. I love all of the KGI series but this is my favorite. I hope the rest of Rio's team gets a story someday.
I liked the entire story.
I love Harry Berleley. He did this series perfectly. Adam Paul is good but I liked Harry better.
"Rio and Grace are Golden!!"
Harry Berkeley's performance captures your attention and you are just hooked!! Each character had a distinctive voice and personality.
Not surprisingly, Rio and Grace are my favorite characters. Elizabeth ran a very close second.
I have listened to one of Harry Berkeley's other performances, a KGI novel. He was excellent narrator in both.
There were 3 moments that moved me in the story. All dealing with young Elizabeth.
First was the strength of character of the little girl Elizabeth, despite all the hell that she had been through. Her strength actually helped Grace bear the strain of healing her.
Second moment was when Rio embraced and comforted Elizabeth in the midst of both their fear and sorrow.
Third was when Elizabeth ran to Grace in her hospital room and only rested when she knew she was safe in her "mother's" arms. Then Grace and Rio decided to raise Elizabeth
I hope he performs the rest of the audio books in the series!

Can't think of one
