It was entertaining, humorous at times and just a good read.

As with all these "romantic" "love" "lust" they are predictable.

Coleen did a good job with the voice adjustments. At times, it was hard to know which voice she was trying to get to, but overall her performance was very well done. I liked her sarcastic tones, and quippy attitued in her voice. I wouldn't hesitate to have her read another book.

Amusing-

I enjoyed the book, it was fast paced-didn't drag. I liked the fact that Alexa was an "under dog" and worked for what she believed in.

On my 1-10 scale this would rate a 7. It has likable characters, with a fun twist.

I laughed, I cried a bit, I smiled and overall very satisfying!
I know it's a great book when I listen before bed and I look down and it's 12:30 am.
I couldn't stop listening! I can't wait to listen to the next one. Only wish there were more than 2!

The narration was so bad that I could not understand the story or get into it at all. Im sure the paperback might be ok at best.

I have hundreds of audible books. This was the absolute worst narration of them all. Coleen sounds like a robot in fast forward mode. I even tried slowing it down at half speed to understand it better. Did not work. Horrendous.

DISAPPOINTMENT

Do not buy this book.

The lead female character in this is spunky.... but that is about it. Not worth $24... or a credit. The reviews I read raved it was fun, funny and witty. It is a little, but not a lot. I have been an audible customer for over 5 years...and this is the first review I have posted. I'm doing so because the reviews overstated the quality of the book.

Well written and comical. Loved the both characters and how they were perfectly matched for each other. The anticipation of their chemistry that lead up to their love for each other was well balanced. Totally recommend for anyone who wants to read a perfect and easy read. I loved every moment of this. Looking forward to the Second Book -- That's All I'm Saying.

The reader and the story were very disappointing. The reader was too breathy and made the characters sound ridiculous. I found the character development very poor to the point where each person seemed like hollow tree stumps.

Probably not. Even enjoying the book a lot it's not the kind of story that I would like to listening again, the end is very predictable.

The romance between the characters, even being an arranged marriage they felt in love and they were very jealous of each other, that made the story a fun quick read with a lot of gorgeous passages.

No I haven't, but I will look for more books of this author. I just loved the way it was written, very romantic and with lots of sweet love scenes

I don't think it would give a nice movie, it had too be more deep...profound.I"m not sure of the right word to use, perhaps the story was too light. Good just to read.

I couldn't put down the book, you just want to go on and on to see what will happen in the next chapter. A very nice book the kind of romance that I love to listen.
