I expected more from a Patterson novel. I winced through most of this book because of the writing. How much of it had to be actually written by Patterson in order to be able to advertise it as being by him?
This was a very good book; exciting, until the end. It was the ending that was a letdown for me. I just wanted more. A good story line; strong and you kept wanting to read more and more. When I got to the end, I was thinking” this is it”?
Yes, the story line was excellent.
Yes very much so.
It was an enjoyable genre change from what I usually read. I liked it for what it was- a completely fictional read with an interesting twist on reality (or what could ever be reality) and with lots of well described animal action. This is coming out as tv series in June. It will be interesting to see how much of it matches the book. Some of the story did gap in places where too much time passed without any explanation as to how it joined back into the present. There were way too many unnecessary chapter breaks, .
Atilla NOT killing the Chloe and child.
