I am going to have to say that Iris' sister Gigi was my favorite in this book. The relationship with her and Iris was very interesting trying to find the right balance as parent and sister.
Amanda Ronconi was fabulous as usual.
As much as I have enjoyed Molly Harper's works and Amanda Ronconi's narration, I found this title to be listless, a bit rushed and only mildly entertaining.
The plot seemed rushed because characters would just quickly accept something traumatic or unusual and at one point in the story when our heroine has sex with the vampire, instead of some, I don't know, magical or sensitive moment, they continue their witty banter. In fact, there is so much witty banter throughout this book, that it robbed any remaining drama from the circumstances. No one seemed threatened or afraid or even really very sad because they were so busy with the witty banter.
I usually enjoy Amanda Ronconi's narration, but here it is lost in a rather average character. In fact, I think everyone in this book was average---even the vampire, who seemed just like a nice guy.
This won't stop me from listening to Molly Harper's other books, but maybe I will wait a bit.
Such a refreshing change from the same old story line, boy meets girl, girl plays hard to get, boy is a self made millionaire! I was reluctant w this book, but soo glad I got it! Funny, sarcastic humor yet a plot! Thank you!
This was a funny sweet story. I would have preferred a little more romance and passion between two main characters. Narrator was great!!
Absolute book lover. Would rather spend a day reading than go shopping. Except when shopping for books of course. Loving audio books.
Yes recommended 100%. I am a new fan of Molly Harper and her books are refreshing. A new way of looking at vampires and were.
I love her characters and she is very talented.
It made me laugh out loud. My spouse and I enjoyed it together.
Molly keep them coming.
It was interesting to have the back story on someone from the Driving Mr. Dead book.
I wanted more about Miranda, so this book was a little of a letdown, since I had liked that one so very much.
This book can be a stand alone. Not really series stuff in my opinion.
I have enjoyed Molly Harper's books, but I like the Nice Girl ones the best. Amanda Ronconi is an amazing narrator!
teacher & book lover
Amanda Ronconi is awesome! She brings these terrific characters to life. I love the accent she gives Cal!
Cal's relationship with his girls is so sweet. Mr. Big and Bad is so cute when he's in protective mode.
It would be in the top 15.
I would say that this book is very comparable to How to Seduce a Naked Werewolf in that the heroine was feisty and maybe a bit over her head and the hero is a bit troubled and a bit sweet.
The beginning did a great job of sucking me in.
This book was very funny.
It is definitely worth a credit.
