Over the years I have known about the Nephilim and spoken to people who offered up their views and opinions - all of them very subjective and clearly un-researched. The pyramids were another one of those "problems". We know they exist but just how did works of such complexity and magnificence come about? Patrick Heron offers a great explanation of both in this excellent work.
I found the book to offer just the right amount of anticipation and as promised, does indeed deliver explanations which are both plausible and believable other than the "just so" line we often are expected to be satisfied with.
I will not give anything away other than to say, once you have read this book, you will look at the parts of history covered in this book, in a totally new light.
This audiobook ranks in the top 3 books I have listened to so far.
I appreciated the authentic presentation of facts and the well thought out implications of the authors material. I concluded that this was indeed a very plausible view which I had before written off as fiction.
Patrick Herons performance was excellent and his personal reading added to the impact of the audiobook. You could hear more than words. You could hear the man, his conviction and passion yet without any sensationalism.
I listened to the whole book in one setting as I drove from Reno Nevada to Palm Springs.
Well thought out book with real research and facts devoid of sensationalism. It stands on its own.
I was expecting true research. I got a bunch of scripture used as "facts" to back up other scripture. Skip this one if you aren't up for a conversion.
Was looking for more insight into the Nephilim but this was not the right read in my opinion. The first part of the book dug into the scripture relevant to the Nephilim and other mentions of giant people including Goliath that the author made argument for being ancestors of the Nephilim and it was palatable. He argues that depictions on ancient manuscripts and engravings of half man / half animal monstrosity were the makings of this race as well and that the flood was intended to wipe them off the face of the earth. In the end he makes the stretch that the pyramids were all created by Satan and the Nephilim to mock the heavenly domain on Earth and made his predictions for the end times. Difficult at best to build some resemblance of proof in his far fetched ideas but even giving him credit for that hard tasks this really seemed to be reaching and jumping to unjustified conclusions.
Amazing! Breathtaking! Comforting! These are the words that comes to mind as I finished listening to this wonderful book.
Comparing this book to any other book is like trying to compare that feeling you get when you ride your first roller coaster to taking your first test for school. As nearly impossible as it may seem I can only come up with one other book that can be compared to this scale. It's called "The Return Of The Antichrist And The New World Order." This is one of the few if not only book that goes so in depth into bible study and The Book Of Revelations that you feel a whole new clarity take place in you. If I wasn't already a believer in the Bible and Christ, I would faith just from listening to these books alone. That's how amazing and powerful they are.
I've always loved when the authors Narrates their own books. To hear the changes in the tone of their voice when something excites, saddens, concerns them, or when they become so passionate in their writings and beliefs that you can feel it move you as it moves them. That's what I love most when listening to this book.
When you're watching a movie or a T.V. show and the main character finally realizes the conflict and everything becomes clear. That's how you will feel when you listen to this. Like there is a problem in your life, and all of a sudden it becomes crystal clear how to solve it or what's causing it, and you feel this huge relief and comfort come over you. That's how this book will make you feel. It's a wonderful awakening to so many answers, to so many questions.
When I read Patrick Herons first book Apocalypse Soon, it was like coming across a hot spring on a cold winters night, and putting my toes in, and feeling a rush come across my body. Well reading The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse was like jumping into that hot spring and submerging myself into this wonderful feeling all over.
Have you ever watched a movie and wondered what the heck did I just watch, and wish you could get a manual explaining what just happened? well my friends this is the manual to that movie. This is the dictionary to those words you don't understand. This book helps reveal the most hidden knowledge in plain sight, and is meant to help gain a better understanding. I will always recommend this book to family friends and loved ones who wish to have a better clarity of the bible and its greatest teachings. Please do yourselves a favor, and just listen, to gain what this book has to offer.
Thank you Dr. Patrick Heron for these wonderful words that have brought so much to so many.
Dr. Heron does an excellent job in describing the connection of Fallen Angels (Nephilim) to ancient mythology as well as future events described in the book of Revelation. Dr. Heron takes you on a stunning and mind-blowing ride through the Bible as he uses evidence from Scripture, science, mathematics, Biblical astronomy, and ancient writings (Book of Enoch, in particular) to explain the role of Fallen Angels and their impact on mankind in the ancient world and their role for the future Tribulation. Have you been taught all your life, or at least assumed (as I did until recently), that ancient mythologies were born in the minds of storytellers, fantasizing powerful and unnatural deities, just to please the ears of their peers? We have been expected to believe that there were races of people in ancient times who held the abilities to calculate precise measurements and constructions, that exceed even today's technology; who had an undeniable, almost divine, understanding of astronomy; but yet, they believed in unnatural beings based on just imagination...much less not have enough knowledge to invent the wheel? Not so! Dr. Heron explains in this book how mankind was deceived by the Fallen Angels and how they influenced mankind with their knowledge and abilities, using great power, so that the people of this earth mistakened them for gods. Not only do we find the answers to the hows-and-whys ancient mythologies came about, but now we also know how those powerful and mind-blowing structures, such as the The Great Pyramid of Giza, were constructed through the divine processes of the Nephilim.
I also found the explanations of future Nephilim activity to be logical and solid. If you read this book, you will become much clearer on how the Anti-Christ receives his power and why some of the visions that John saw in the book of Revelation are really literal, and and not figurative, like many Christians believe most of his visions are.
If you have always wondered about the ancient mysteries involving mythologies and structures, and/or how the Beast from the Abyss will be able to set up his rule and persuade an entire world to follow him, then this book will amaze you with its content.
There are so many, but two stood out to me the most:
1) The explanation of Biblical astronomy and how it played a part in the ancient world before it was corrupted by Satan and turned into what we know today as Astrology.
2) Not only who the Anti-Christ is, but who he was.
This was my first book by Dr. Heron, but it will not be my last. The book was laid out beautifully and did not skip around as to confuse the reader. It is difficult to write on End Time prophecies as there is so much involved in citing sources, interpreting and explaining scripture, and keeping it structured so that reader will not get lost. I feel Dr. Heron did a wonderful job on this volume. I am looking forward to reading his other materials as well as listening to his interviews as they are made available online.
As I read deeper into the book, I began to gain a greater understanding of how this world (the ones who do not know Christ) will be able to be deceived by the Anti-Christ. I think people fall into this false sense of security in thinking they will be able to recognize and resist the evil that will fall upon the earth in the latter days just by using their own power. This book really helped me to understand just how much the great deception of the latter days will hook people who do not know the Saviour, Jesus Christ. I feel a more urgent desire now to not only learn more about what is coming, but to work harder to share Jesus Christ and give people a better understanding of what is about to come upon the Earth.
You will quickly come to the conclusion that Dr. Heron is a serious researcher and will constantly use Scripture, above anything else, to back up his statements. This is one of the many things that impressed me about Dr. Heron. So many authors and commentators will state their belief system on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations of conclusions. Dr. Heron gives you what he believes and backs it up with the Bible. So, if you think that believing Fallen Angels mated with mankind; that giant demigods once roamed the earth; that the Beast once occupied the ancient world; would require a hefty imagination supplemented with fantasy...then you must read this book, because Dr. Heron proves these events were, and will be, real based on what the Bible teaches us. Whether you are already a believer in Christ, or someone who is still searching for the truth in the End Times, this book will mesmerize you and make you hungry for more of Christ's teachings and to learn what the Bible teaches us about what is to come.
They way that Mr. Heron connects the Nephilim and the Pyramids.
