I was really looking forward to listening to this book. The narrator's horrible reading ability and embarrassing attempts at accents makes you almost feel sorry for her.....almost. At least she got paid for the job. I actually paid to listen to her. Now that's embarrassing!
I wish I could give a good review for this book, but it's hard to tell if the book was good or not. The narrator was so awful that she ruined the book. I hope Ms Ashley never lets this narrator read one of her books again!!!
A decent narrator and a different book!
I will never buy another audiobook by this author or this narrator. Of my 400+ audiobooks, this is the worst!! I would give it 0 stars if possible.
The narrator could find a new profession and leave narrating to those who are at least moderately good at it. Her voice and interpretation were about as pleasurable as waking to a car alarm at 3am.
If Audible created a worst narrator and worst book of the year award - this one would win both categories.
A better narrator.
I haven't made it there yet. I'm still trying to force myself to go on.
Maybe, not with the same narrator. Sorry.
I've no idea.
Although the storyline is sweet, and the author appears to be very imaginative, the narrator leaves a bit more to be desired. I bought the audio version over 90 days ago and I'm only on chapter 13. I kept thinking, just hang in there, the narration will get better. At this point, I just want to get it over with. Sorry.
