I listened to this quick audio book this morning, after waking up early and not being able to go back to sleep. I bought it a few weeks ago and hadn't had the time to listen yet. While there are no earth-shatteringly new concepts in this book, it was a good review of some old concepts and I found it quite motivational. Most importantly it reminded me to be conscious of how I spend my time not only in the morning, but throughout the day.
My favorite quote from the audio book came toward the end. I'm paraphrasing a bit here ...
Early morning victories create a cascade of more of them throughout the day.
I enjoyed listening to this and will make it a point to relisten once a month or so as a reminder.
I liked how people were able to rearrange their days to flow in a more productive way.
It is geared specifically for business people which I am not. My job isn't about concentrating on work projects so I'm trying to adapt some of the theories to my job in Nursing,
Yes. I would like to read The Happiness Project
Yes! It's a short and easy listen.
I listened to this in the car and found it very interesting. I listened to it twice and found it interesting and refreshing both times.
this book was fantastic for practical tips for a crazy morning household. How to tame the day with easy changes to control your mornings and be successful by the time you hit your desk.
no i have not
she gives practical tips to apply to a realy life.
What I enjoyed most about this book was it was short and direct. There were moments when the book repeated itself but it's alright. Incorporating what Vanderkam discusses will be challenging for me as sometimes I have to be at work at 5:15am; I think she would agree that waking at 3:00am is a little much. My schedule varies from week to week so I will have to do what I can to make this happen.
She offered up many lists with tons of examples so I think I will have to go back with a pen and paper to get down some of the points that stuck out the most.

Highly recommended - helpful tips on making the most of your time and prioritizing your schedule to get the most out of each day. Some of the tips seem obvious, but hearing them explained through various examples makes it easier to apply them to your own life.
I enjoyed her reading style. I could tell she was passionate about the subject and that made it all the more inspiring and motivating. She makes you believe that you can improve your life through some fundamental changes to how we manage our day.
Yes, we stayed in the car to finish it even though we had reached our destination!
Great author, lovely voice, and sense of humor. Would highly recommend!
Her breathy, slow, meandering voice was only slightly better than her self-important and condescending tone.
Yes, the most important things need to be done first, its good to be reminded of all the time we do have in the mornings when no one is around to ask for it. Nice and short, easy listening on a run/jog.
This book really needs to go deeper, follow through some of the studies. Follow through on trends of great people. Follow through something
Put together something of more depth and worthy of a credit.
First Laura should have used a voice actor of some kind, the words were constipated at times.
It's self fulfilling, people who will read the book are looking for inspiration in that area, so in that regard, it will probably spark change for me.
