Not the book itself; it's great.
The realizations it made me have about the nature of charisma.
Please, for the love of all that is good, don't skip the exercises when narrating. I have to buy a n electronic or physical version of the book to get the full content which is ridiculous considering this is "unabridged".
You can't really turn it into a movie, a documentary maybe, and yes, I would watch that documentary.
Some exercises which are essential to get the full benefit of the book are skipped so now I have to buy the physical copy. Very unimpressed with the narration.
Her charisma model of Presence, Power and Warmth is spot on. Her psychology tips on how to work with discomfort and our natural negativity biases were great. I expected a good book on this subject, but feel this book was great. One of my top two life changer books of 2013. Thank you!
Lisa's performance was incredible and she's the best I've heard. I hope to hear her doing another book soon.
I need to listen to Charisma Myth again because she gave so much info, there was no way to bookmark everything. I'm actually thinking of purchasing a hard copy of it for study purposes.
I learned how to have more courage, how to dispel fear in social situations, how to talk to people--one-on-one, in a group, or giving a speech.
I felt like the author had watched one of my friends who has a lot of natural charisma and was writing about her life.
This book presents a plethora of useful tools which can be used to become more charismatic. I had to listen it to twice to absorb everything, I could relate to the concepts talked about in this book with some of the charismatic people that I know and to know that these concepts can be learned and practiced is a great motivating force.
I read a ton of books from this genre and am used to poor narrators working with dry content... which is fine its the style of book. "The Charisma Myth" was unbearable to listen to... only audio book I've ever fast forwarded through.
In all ways possible.

Good advice on building your Executive presence. Very similar to other Executive how to books but it can definitely stand on its own.
If you need more sleep this is the book for you. Otherwise, I'd steer clear.
It is all things I already knew.
I was unable to get through this audiobook because the reading was not enjoyable. Although she has a very clear pleasant voice, the recording sounded very robotic. I really wish more authors would choose to do their own recordings; so much was lost in this recording.
She clearly demystified Charisma.
Moved seems like the wrong word for non fiction.
I re-arranged my office because of some points in the book.
Highly recommend to anyone in business needing a boost
insightful, clear, well articulated
the exercises the author provided were helpful
insight into human behavior
