I was rolling my eyes through this entire book! It's an exact knock-off of Fifty Shades and could almost be considered plagiarism! Very disappointed...a waste of time and money!
Yes, because I bought it.
Didn't like it, cause have been better.
It was ok
This was compared to FSOG but., I enjoyed FSOG betters. This was just more XXX rated words.
I talked that I could listen to book and work. What I did not like is the female reading the famle and male parts. I would haved enjoyed it there a male had read the male parts.
50 Shadys of Grey. Rich man meets young girl and fall really fast.
Again, I had a male read the male parts.
I would be lost without my Audio-books.
Hot & Sexy! his story hooked me from the beginning. It was touted as the best competition to 50 Shades- rightfully so. Real life issues make the characters believable and lovable; combined with smokin' hot romance, all served up on a satin covered platter. Most enjoyable.
I am a huge fan of the 50 Shades stories. Bared to You is written better and is narrated MUCH BETTER than 50 shades. Even though there are huge similarities between the two stories, the narrator seals the deal with regard to the better choice on audible. She is AWESOME. She keeps the narration separate from the character's voices, she animates when necessary and keeps your attention throughout. I am looking forward to the next installment of the Crossfire novels.
The story and narration is wonderful!
The words glide from her tongue.
This book is as hot as the Fifty Shades trilogy. I can wait for the second book to come out on Oct. 2, 2012.
I prefer audio!!
When he came after Ava at his parents house!!!
All of it was great!
How much he wanted to hurt her stepbrother for hurting her!!
I loved this book! The reader made it great for me! Her breathy voice had me anticipating every twist and turn this story took. I cannot wait for the next installment! HURRY!
I was excited for a hot sexy kinky story, but sadly this was not that book. While the sex is hot, the story is not. The main character, in my opinion, is flighty, whiny and a flip-flopping emotional wreck. Given that it is written in the first person, that left me feel confused and not happy with the choices she was making in the novel. However, the story is cohesive (mostly) and it never hurts to have a story where your characters are wealthy and beautiful.
If you are looking for a pro-kink story, keep looking (and let me know if you find it!). But for the average female reader, perhaps this story is a bit on the naughty side. It's definitely mindless summer reading, and that is often delicious in its own right. The story doesn't resolve itself, demanding you read the next book, which is not yet on audible.
I'm a FSOG fan also and after I finished the series I was itching to read something similar and then I found Sylvia Day and BAM! JACKPOT!
Bared to You is (personal opinion) the "mature" and "life like" version of FSOG. Those people that thinks that this a copycat of FSOG ~ its NOT!
I'm so glad Sylvia Day didn't choose a dimwit as her narrator. That would suck so bad. I'm amazed people gave the narrator for FSOG 4 stars, what a joke!!!
Jill Redfield was awesome and perfect for Bared to You.
I'm looking forward to her next series in October 2012.
