It was an interesting story. Not my normal type of read, but I would recommend it to "romantics at heart".
Not really the type of movie I would go to.
If you were disappointed in 50 shades, this is a very similar story, but better written.
I'll probably listen to Insurgent next.
I didn't have a favorite.
I started out alright, but as I continued listening it just seemed to go flat. I didn't see the characters going anywhere. When it came right down to it, I wasn't "emotionally involved" with them, so to speak. Put another way, I didn't really care what happened to them. I didn't even finish the book.
I never did finish this book. This book seems to jump right in with the sex, before the characters even know each other. I just don't feel like there is enough character development. It just feels like sex, without something deeper, feels a little empty for me. I keep waiting and waiting for some geniune connection between the two characters besides sex, but it just isn't happening. I am tired of waiting, I am giving up on this one.
Hot, Love, Hope
I would compare this to 50 Shades of Grey there are some similarities but you can over look them becasue the history of the charcters is different.
All, She does AWESOME
When he tells her to quit running all the time
I loved 50 Shades of Grey and this book does Compare. I am ready for book 2 to come out I really cant wait.
I like Jill Redfield and have listened to other books read by her. She did as well as she could with the material she was given. Don't think Sylvia Day is my cup of tea.
I was very pleased that the Fifty Shades series was so sexy without being crude. This book returns to the baser language that turns me off..
I would have cut Kerry's orgy scene. It didn't advance the plot and it was revolting.
I couldn't like Ava or Gideon. For that matter, there wasn't one character in the book who was likeable. I kept listening thinking that Ava and Gideon would get past their self absorption but never happened.
That Eva holds her ground
Too many to mention
Loved the book and can't wait for the next one"
Story line was more realistic than the 50 Shades. Can't wait until there is a book 2.
Ava was my favorite because she was so trusting. She was able to over come her obstacles and care enough about Gideon despite what he may have thrown at her.
How someone so emtionally damaged can truly rise above it and help others.
I loved the little twist and turns.
I think she did a great job!
I listened to this in one sitting...I couldn't stop it!
This story is in my view alot more "it could happen to me" kinda of story. There are no way out there parts in this book.
Gideon Cross is a great replacement for your Christain Gray withdrawals. Very hot and great story. It's hard to wait for Book 2. My imagination is running wild about what happened at the end when he returned to the apt. If you like 50 Shades, you'll like this too.
NO. 50 shades had a story that had an ending. Bared to you is simply True Story magazine. Same sex encounters just different places. It almost seems like the author tried to copy 50 shades and did a poor job of it.
tell why he was so damaged and what happened later . different kinds of positions or styles very boring
she did ok
it was over quickly
