I had read the book and loved it so much that I wanted to re-read it before th 3rd installment comes out, but opted for the audio version instead.
It sure did, both times I read/listened to it. It made me laugh, but mostly cry!
The voice of Jill Redfield was PERFECT for this book. I will seek her other recordings for sure.
Yes, if they liked fifty shades of gray and need a light 'read'. But I would warn them that it contains a lot of sex scenes and that the main character goes on and on about how hot her boyfriend is. Its sometimes a bit much. But at other times quite entertaining.
A skinwalker novel, Blood cross
No, but I was impressed by Redfields interpretation and how she managed to separate the different characters.
Not in the movie theatre, but I might watch it if I saw it snapping through TV channels.
No additional comments.
Yes before I get the third one. Can't wait til its out....:-) Sylia Day love the way she wrote it.
Love love loved it
Consumed, Intense, Sexy!!
I liked Gideon Cross, he is very driven and distracted all at the same time...I can relate!
Jill did a good job...problem was I listened to Becca Battoe do Fifty Shades and I couldnt help but try to compare the two.
I tried but I stopped and started a lot with this...still looking forward to book 2
Hell yeah!!! Move over Linda Howard
Sylvia Day is making her move in a big way
Hmmmm... So many I think when Gideon told Ava he wanted to
"Do her" that's when the fun began.
I only have a few favorite narrator I like to listen
To, I thought when Anna Fields died the audio world was doomed
, but Jill has great skills and not many can do male and female
Voices justice.she totally rocks. ! My two ultimate favorites
Are Jill and Xe Sands
Yes. It had me doing both especially about
The abuse Ava suffered.
If you are a real no hold barred romance novel
Lover. This book is for you. Very graphic sex raw
Raunchy, explicit. Love it love it. I will buy every one
Of Sylvia Days books. She gives major props to Nora
Roberts in "Reflections" but Sylvia is Nora on
This is tormented love story that will have you begging for more. I didn't want the book to end. Ava and Giddian make the perfect couple going against each other tormented pasts.
Ava was my favorite character because she resembles the common woman finding their other half and fighting against their demons.
the narrator is amazing! I love how she created voices for all the characters. She doesn't even have to say who is speaking since you already know by the voice tone and pitch... just amazing!
Yes! I could not stop listening to it. I was kind of addicted to it.
I was told to try this if I liked Fifty Shades. WRONG! It is WAY too similar but much more crude language and a terrible story. These people are either f()cking or fighting. No excitement. Can't count the number of times I thought "Seriously, again!?!" Plus the main characters name is AWFUL! Really, Gideon? I won't be continuing this series.
Still a little creepy story line of sex and domination, but Sylvia Day 's writing is so much more tolerable!
No, it's just different. I always read the book first and then listen to the audio version. Usually it just reinforces my love for the story.
Gideon. He is so totally broken but you can tell he really loves Eva.
Eva. She sounds exactly as I thought when I was reading the book. The sex scenes are phenomenal!
I only buy an audio book when I find a story I don't want to let go. This one did not disappoint at all. It just added to the overall experience of enjoying the story.
