I love a great hot book!
Bared to You is one of the higher ranking books for me, the narrator is great and I enjoyed visualizing through her tones.
This book falls inline with 50 Shades of Gray, which I also loved, it had a slightly different twist but I really enjoyed it.
My favorite scene was right after the hotel episode and Eva ran, I was touched by Gideon rushing out to find her followed by taking her home.
The relationship between Eva and Kerry was great.
I really enjoyed this book, I've listened to it three times now. I can't wait for the third book to come out.
I loved the audio version so I would choose that.
When she knew he would really kill for her.
When cross told his darkest secret
I know it was supposed to be an erotic novel, but the sex scenes were so ridiculously over the top that I wanted to stab myself in the face. I was driving when I listened so I couldn't do that.
Something with a plot.
Jill Redfield WAS a good narrator. Not her fault the book was the worst book I ever read. It made 50 Shades seem worthy of a Pulitzer prize for fiction
Anyone that was breathing.
The writer should be encouraged to have as much sex as she makes the characters have, and then let's see if she survives to write more trash.
The similarity between this book and fifty shades are absolutely uncanny but I can forgive it because this book is better written and a lot more mature than fifty shades. I love the fact that the characters are a little bit more realistic and honest. Definitely worth the credit and I have already read it twice... Cant wait for the third book.. :)
. I'm a sucker for rocky romances so I enjoyed the element of overcoming issues
at times Carey sounded like Eva, and often times Gideon sounded angry when he shouldn't have. I just feel like the male voices weren't great - bottom line.
I know this is fiction but some of the story was just too unrealistic. It actually irritated me at times.
It is such a gripping story that I couldn't turn it off. There went a weekend listening to this and Reflected in You non stop.
Eva and Gidion are such a complex pair both individually and as a couple it just keeps you listening
I have "just read" the books as well as listening to the audio. Jill Redfield is brilliant. I thought Becca Battoe of FSOG was brilliant but she has competition in Jill.
Love story with a twist.
Really good story, can't wait till the 3rd in the series comes out.
yes, its a good book
just very interesting
she was excellent and did a great job
When Gideon was ashamed of what he had done to Ava doing his nightmare, and how she still reached out to him.
I felt that I was listening to 50 Shades all over again. Maybe the next books might be a little different.
Predictable and boring
Rich people having sex and their perfect cars with their perfect jobs. Wearing perfect clothes....etc.
This was an excellent story with great developing characters and romance. The only negative I can say about it was the narrator was a little lacking and dull at times. The book carried the narrator, not the other way around. However the story was so good that I couldn't put the thing down. I was listening with every free moment I had!
Yes, but not from this series.
Yes... she started out over the top, but this book is over the top. The series is over the top, anyway. She'd be better of reading the "male lead" without trying to do a "husking" male voice. IMO, if the character's voice is out of your vocal range, just read it with your normal voice, especially if you're reading all the other male characters that way. It was distracting, and it made Gideon Cross (Names, where do they come up with these names?) sound like he had just been kicked in the balls every time he started to speak. "This is the opinion that fire cannot burn out of me; I will die in it.
Yes, the erotic bits were definitely erotic.
The plot line was ridiculous. The characters were decent, if one is able to suspend disbelief far enough... ("world's fifty richest men yadablahblah") But the plot line is why I won't bother with the third book. You just can't have that many horrible fights, improbable misunderstandings, wrenching psychological explosions away from each other, and tempestuous sexual rekindlings in this space of time. It's far-fetched. It's ridiculous. It's LUDICROUS! It ask TOO much of the reader's ability to suspend disbelief.
