Hard to believe some of the people especially the spy were so obvious in their deceit. I don't know I feel like maybe there were a lot of holes in the story.....all cases seemed to come to resolution too fast. Not great as an Audible book, would maybe be better as a training video.
Great book with many real world examples. I wish the authors went into more detail on applying the model though...left me wanting more. The book ended way too soon!Fantastic narrator, voice fit perfectly.
Just a poster
It depends. This book is for those that are into studying people and their responses. I believe that it could send the wrong message to some.
I enjoyed the way they took the interviews apart and discussed the actions. It was occationally dry but not without merit.
I don't know if it was the narator or the authors but the book seemed a little melodramatic for my taste. Made me think of Don Adams.
The authors provide a number of places where the deception was present. I would like them to have provided an instance(s) where there was no deception.
This book is very well written, but it is a lot of information. There are definitely practical uses for this type of book, and I intend to use them. It speaks clearly but it is kind of fast. I do wish it did give more examples though.
I love the quality of this audio book. it makes the conversations flow freely and teaches you to hear it as if you were watching a movie only forcing you to imagine it as its going on. book was thought out and well written. well played! for this genre it's one of my favorites
I have listened to this book over and over. It's very easy to following and comprehend. I have and would recommend this book to anyone who finds interest in reading and understanding other peoples behaviou.
