Fan girl here.
There is nothing here I can say that won't be just gushing.
If you like Jeaniene Frost and if you like Tavia Gilbert, there is nothing about this book that will change that.
It is all about bad boy Vlad, and that is all good. There was not an HEA but the HFN seems to fit better with Vlad anyway.

I really enjoyed this book, as well as the narrators performance. I particularly enjoyed the humor and real sense of personality the characters have. Too many times I'm left feeling that a character is flat, missing something...in this book I found myself connecting with several of the characters. I've already downloaded the sequel to this book...can't wait to read/listen to it.
I love the narration of Tavia Gilbert, she gives the characters such great attitude... It helps to be narrating a fun book with spunk.

I really tried to like this book and to get into the "theme", but the accent for male lead was so silly it killed any kind of interest i had in the book..i think i made it about half way through and that was it for me..i honestly just found it all kind of silly..
I am an avid reader of Jeaniene Frost and I really enjoyed Frost. Tavia Gilbert is the same narrator who read the Cat novels and she is thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. This book remains true to Ms. Frost's standards of writing in that it is well written, fun and sexy. I would recommend this book to those who are already fans of Cat and Bones, or to someone who is reading this author for the first time.
Vlad. He is sexy but with a slightly self depricating sense of humor.
If I had time, I would probably listen to this book all day and finish it.
Not my favorite Jeanine Frost novel, but still a good read. The character development was a little weak. I cared more about Vlad in some of the other novels where he was just a side character.
Yes, great voices of the different accents!
I have enjoyed all the books in the Night Huntress World. She is a very strong female character! I look forward to seeing how their relationships and her powers develop in future books.
The plot was fast moving, and you get to see the heroine come to accept herself
I liked Vlad, because I prefer my heroes to be more bad, with just a touch of the good guy in them.
She really brings the characters to life with their voices and personalities.
It had a good balance of emotional parts.
Strong. Intriguing. Captivating.
Vlad, just because I have liked Vlad in all of Jeanine's books
She is very good. In all the other books, I love the way she reads Bones' parts!
When Leila and her father made peace with each other.
Just a great overall listen. I love all of Jeanine's books.
