Not sure if I have a favorite in this trilogy, but this is a definite contender. The intensity is high from the start of this one and it only escalates as all of the main characters play a critical role in a very busy conclusion spread across the galaxy. I was slightly disappointed in the ending, but since it was telegraphed way in advance, I was ok with it. At any rate, it's a great story that really captures the sense of adventure present in the films and expands on that, gracefully weaving in an awesome arc for each of the characters you love. Mara Jade is a new favorite, as is Talon Karrde (aka Ricardo Montalbon).
great trilogy keeps you interested and entertained the voice and sound effects great
you think there were more voice actors then just the narrator I love when he changes his voice with each role
Mora Jade, Great character transformation
I am little disappointed in the ending. Seems that Zahn ran out of time and just ended the 3 story lines with a sentence on each part. "Oh hey I need to end this, so this just happens and that just happens and end of story? ..... Wait what?
Wow. I love Star Wars and this book took that passion to an entirely new place. These, if turned into movies, would potentially be the trilogy everyone would talk about for 50+ years. Incredible story, incredible villain, and twists that keep on coming...all tied up in a perfect bow at the end. Well done sirs.
Fantastic book, excellent narration and production, it's like listening to an old radio serial; don't hesitate to buy this book!
