I love books, hard copy and audible. Love meeting new people and building strong relationships. I am confident in one thing. HE IS.
Thanks Jamina for recommending this series. Book one is murderous. OMG.. AWESOME READ.
I purchased this book based on the glowing recommendations and regret the purchase. I did not like it at all. The storyline was forced and there was gratuitous sex, violence, and designer name dropping throughout the entire book. The plot just wasn't believable. The Murder Mamas are pure fantasy. Statistically speaking, women just aren't born murderers and that was a hard pill to swallow. Everything about this book was forced. I do not recommend it for readers who enjoy normal books like Game of Thrones, A Piece of Cake, Pillars of the Earth, the Help, and other books with great story lines.
I love the story. read the third book in the series first and had to buy the rest. I own all but six and the murder mommies. however the narrator could be better. he kinda kills the story with proper English when using the street terms in the book. when I read them it seemed more real then listening to him read.
This book was so bad, it was laughable. The dialog, the sound effects (!), the story line, everything was terrible! In addition, the book was so filthy, it shouldn't even be in Audible's inventory. I tried it for two hours (every book gets two hours to try to get me interested), but was so disappointed I gave up. After reading Don Winslow's CARTEL, I was interested in another book on the subject, but even that couldn't keep me going.
Everyone associated with this book, including Audible, should be embarrassed.
it was fun to listen to, considering it made me laugh a lot when it was probably being serious. I would recommend the writers do better research on the following: pregnancy, poisons, chemical effects, effective torture methods, and gangs in Miami. The writing itself was good, though. I appreciated the colorful characters and diverse sentence structures
