No, in a book of this genre one expects sex and violence, but the excessive depictions of these acts in this book were deplorable.
Making it through excruciating six chapters before giving up!
The narration was weak, the poor depiction of the many women’s voices and accents were laughable and ditch the obnoxious sound effects sprinkled throughout.
I purchased this book based on the description and excellent reviews it received and after two years of being an Audiobook listener felt ripped off. It was not at all what I expected, in a book of this genre one expects s sex and violence, but the excessive depictions of these acts in this book were deplorable. Normally as a rule I listen to the first six chapters of a book before giving up on it however in this case making it through six chapters which was excruciating painful and making it even more unbearable were the obnoxious sound effects sprinkled throughout. Do not waste your money and/or credits on this Audiobook.
I think only the authors themselves would like this dreck. The book is horribly written and would not get even a token gold star for trying as a third grade writing assignment.
Everything except for the character of Mecca, and even he was shallow. The story was all stereotypes and a giant ad for various designer labels. Dialogue was repetitious, shallow and the plot was a jumbled mash.
Legislation should be passed at the Federal level of government to keep Cary Hite from ever being part of an audio book. His delivery was horrible, voice acting of females abysmal and only served the purpose of driving people away faster from this horrible book.
Disappointment that I wasted the money on a book that sounded interesting because of the description.
No - Ashley and Jaquavis and yes for Cary Hite
No, I could not finish #2 and I would not recommend this series because of it.
No, they should have rapped it up in this one. It just didn't need one.
