Absolutely. The narrators played the characters perfectly. They portrayed all the subtle character changes well. Fun listening! My favorite audio book!
The narrative style is unique to the author. Similar to Dark Places.
Yes, I listened to Whelan in Witness. Pleasant, talented.
Nothing is what you expect.
Recording helped with the flips between character narrations and flips through time periods.
Definately kept my attention.
Hooked from beginning.
Very thought provoking. I was constantly trying to decide how it would play out.
Their voices were perfect for this book.
Lots of "eeeks" and some laughing.
Just when you think you know where this is going, wham, it takes a left turn! OK, I was wrong. Now I know, wham, another left turn. This happens right up to the very end. Very well thought out.
After listening to over 200 audiobooks, it's near imposilbe for any one book to claim the title as "the best book I have listened to." This book was on it's why to that rating. The book is so clever, so deep, so ingenious in it's plot and delivery, that I was sure that I would give the book a five-star rating. That is, until the last 45 minutes or so when the story had to end.
It might be true to say that such a tremendous book could not possibly have an equally fantastic ending. It might be true, but it seems to be a cop-out. The ending of this book is, let's say, disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I still highly reccommend the book...no doubt. The truth is, this book could have had three or four different endings and, if the author did truly have several endings in mind, I think she chose the weakest one.
Deinitely read the book. You might just love the ending. If so, it will likely be the best book that you have ever listend to!
I think that their ability to convey the inner dialogues of the two main characters was extremely valuable in understanding the nuances of their thoughts.

I enjoy Gillian Flynn's dark, disturbing writing and the narrators did a fantastic job. Just fantastic.
I've never listened to anything with these narrators but they made the characters come alive for me. I think it added to the story quite a bit.
I did feel that the ending was too drawn out and that made it feel anticlimactic. However, I do love Flynn's way of writing unlikable characters.
This book ranks in the top five books I have ever listened to. In fact, I would have to say it was number two...Middlesex is my favorite, but it is a completely different genre.
The book is written from the perspective of two people in first person. The readers made me feel as if I were truly listening to the two of them talk.
I did not laugh or cry... however, I couldn't stop listening until the end. I found myself giving up time to do other things just so that I could sit and listen to this book.
Throughout the course of my listening to this book, I talked about it incessantly to the point that she stopped listening to hers and started listening to this one because she was so intrigued...a hint though, when speaking of the book, don't talk about anything but how god it is as there are so many twists, one needs to be careful not to give things away.
Yes this is an very interesting story and the male and female voices added texture.
This is a very hard question, it changed by chapter. The guy, I guess, weakly.
Both were excellent
The couple you love to hate
I thought the ending was dissatisfying. Maybe just me.
Kept my interest.
I felt for each character
I ended up purchasing the other two books by this author and enjoy them just as much
I would listen to this story again because in the beginning of the book I was sucked into thinking that Nick and Amy were so in love and had the perfect marriage. I would like to hear the story from the beginning already knowing that is not the case.
Amy was my favorite character because she seemed so in love and so romantic. I was blown away by how devoted she was to her husband Nick.
The scene in the book where Nick is being evasive to police questioning is one of my favorites because I began to see the lies Nick tells are beginning to pile up.
The world of a failing marriage
