Not typically my favorite genre but a friend recommended this book and it kept me riveted from the start. The narration was great really, once you get used to the voices, and the story is extremely tight and well constructed. Not high art (not trying to be) but still, well written overall with well constructed characters; a very thought-provoking and compelling bit of writing/performance.
The book was interesting and the narration was great. I grew impatient at the end to see how the author would wrap this up and have justice prevail. The answer - she didn't. In the end the psycho killer manipulates her way through the entire book and gets away with it and leaves a trail of ruined lives behind her. Will definitely not waste my money on another book from this author.
