It started off as a story that sounded predictable then began twists and turns that kept me listening. I couldn't stop till I finished it! Great book and I hope there is another part to it!
A sign language interpreter who finds herself in the car a LOT, traveling from assignment to assignment. Audible saved me from road rage! :)
Superbly well-acted voicing on both parts. Both narrators also did other character voices quite well. They did not just read; they performed! It was like listening to a movie or an old-time radio show, but better!
The story was well-written and took turns I did not expect, but the end left me unsatisfied--somewhat flat--almost aggravated. I don't know if I will watch the movie because they are never as good as the books, and I can't imagine sitting on the edge of my seat WATCHING this kind of torment for two hours or so--quite the mind-f**k. What a twisted imagination!
the story...I enjoyed the back and forth from Amy to Nick's point of view.
The twists, I really liked the twists and turns and how well thought out they were
The emotions from both sides as Amy returned
there already is a film
I felt a little empty at the end of this book. I wish there would have been more of a resolution, leaving it open ended like they did left me disappointed. I feel that Nick and Amy both did not win, and with a story with so many twists and turns, I wish we could have had a more finite resolution
Yes. Elegantly written. I was captivated from beginning to end.
The entire plot. It was brilliant.
The tone in which they read was awesome. They were amazing.
Yes. My emotions ran wild.
This book is a must read by all means!
....but I hated the ending!!!! But the narrators were fantastic; the best I've heard since beginning my membership. Enjoy! Thanks.
If you've ever dated someone crazy, you'll like this book. Long, and seems slow until half way through when your worst theories are true and you realize Gillian Flynn has a monstrous imagination and has created the creepiest villain we've seen in a long time.
