Not at this time.
Definitely, it ended terrible. So, in need of a true ending.
Not as good as I thought the book would be after all the great reviews. A book that stays on the bestsellers list as long as this one has should have ended better!
I really enjoyed this audio book. I found it very captivating. I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the plot twists, but was slightly disappointed in the ending.
Not my cup of tea; two stars because I finished it. I prefer books where I find at least one character, hopefully the protagonist, likeable in some way, and this book is entirely devoid of that. It's well written and cleverly structured, and the narrators were fine.
[*No* spoilers!] Before I purchase this book, I read that it got really messed up in the second part, or some of the writing wasn't as believable, but stick with it, it all comes together, and the writing is insightful of the human conditions and of psychological disorders. This book is outstanding, the characters are twisted, they get inside your head and make you think the best and worst (mostly the worst), and you really feel effected by them as they progress. I'm so glad I read this before the movie so that the way Gillian unraveled the story wasn't spoiled for me, hopefully the movie will be okay.
There are two voice actors for this book and both do a great job of communicating tone and relaying which character is being spoken for. More work went into the audio of this book than most, and it really shows.
The first part made me curious - the author did a good job at hinting something was off. But the second half just felt unrealistic and dragged out.
I was curious to get to he end but was not enjoying the writing at that point. Just wanted to get it over with.
good job on narriation
not for me but yes for people who enjoyed it more
Love to get lost in a book, love to read and love to be read to...
A waste of time. The book is well written and has a few twists but there are no redeeming characters in the whole story. I feel there is good in most people, these people all suck!
Watched the movie first, this just delved deeper into Amy and Nick. This book was superbly written, the narration worked so well with both perspectives- now to find more by Flynn!
