Maybe not....Too Much like the Gentry Series and your mind keeps wanting to make comparisons.
I read the first book, Fury of Fire, last year and although I really liked it it was so long and wordy. So, when this one ended up FREE with my KindleUnlimited trial I decided to give it a shot. And, again, I really like it but it was still long and wordy. That being said, I will probably read the next one since I do Love dragons sooo much.
Just like the first one I just loved Rikar and was glad he found his mate, Angela. Great love story and great sex between these two.
I like the new dragon, Mac. Can't wait to see his growth. And I love Daimler.
As to the narrator: I listened to the first book and gave Mr. Darcie 3 stars because he really wasn't any good with the women's voices. This time he was much better. I wasn't wishing for the book to end so I could be through with him, and that's good. So, I'll probably listen to the next in the series.
I have listened to the first two books in this series and enjoyed the encounters tremendously! It's the first time I have ever listened to this genre of story, and was pleasantly surprised! I plan on getting the 3rd book of the series, as well. Hopefully, in the future, the author will write a book starring each of the male characters in the group (that is certainly more than 3!) Great Listen!
After having enjoyed the first installment in this series, "Fury of Fire", I was looking forward to seeing what would happen to the characters in this, the second 'episode'. Actually, it turned out to be a whole lot of 'not so much'. If you like lots of hot descriptions of sex, you won't go wrong with this one. If you like a story with some meat, pass this one by.
As expected, it was a lead in to another book in the series.
He does well with male and female voices; I could always tell who was who in the story as he read.
See my initial comments.
I like these books. I will continue to buy more in the series. I like the world that is built in these books.
I'm a lover of books, both read and audible.
I have never read the print version, so I have nothing to compare it to.
I loved Rikar compassion towards Angela. It made me want to keep reading the book.
I like Forge. His accent is delicious.
I didn't find myself crying when listening to this book but I did laugh out loud a couple of times.
I'm in love with the dragons of the Night Fury.
This series is about dragons and I must say it was written like JR Ward which is one of my favorite authors so how can I not love this series...
No not really
I haven't read many Dragon novels so I had no preconceived notions I enjoy this book
? Not sure it was a good read but not irresistible but I can't pin point it's lack
Stupendous narration for a riveting story. Benjamin L. Darcie manages an awesome feat of portraying all the characters in a different way. I love Coreene Callahan's Dragonfury Series, it is one of my new favorites.
Yes I would recommend it to a friend, because it has a great plot line and keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next
The part where Rikar saves Angela from Lothair and energy fuses with her to keep her alive.
Possibly had a woman actually narrate the parts spoken by the women in the book.
Yes, the part where the Nightfury group reunites Forge with his son
I can't wait to get the third book in the series!!
