Yes, Mary Kay Andrews does a good job writing light hearted rom com novels based in the south.
The mystery aspect was good. The relationship aspect to this book was weaker than Mary Kay's others.
No. Her male southern accents are so bad it made it hard for me to listen with out rolling my eyes and wishing I could fast forward.
Tell us about yourself! Love listening to books in the bathtub and in the bed before I go to sleep, love James Burke, and John Grishman

Great story - interesting characters - held my attention - couldn't wait to pick it back up until it was finished - very entertaining
Loved this story. Being from the south myself, I appreciated all the details that were incorporated into the dialogue. I also love the narrator!!! She is the reason why I got this book to begin with. She has a real talent in bringing the characters to life.
Single mom of two active boys. My guilty pleasure is listening to audio books on road trips and to work or soccer practice. Love Chick Lit!
Mary Kay Andrews is quickly becoming my favorite author. She masters the art of storytelling with realistic and hilarious stories about women and friendship. From page one, you are enveloped into the world she creates. Upon conclusion of the story, it is almost as if you have to say goodbye to a friend. I can't get enough of her books. They are all fantastic!
Storyline very well scripted with characters very much believable. Found story light, a few laughs & tears along the way. An interesting ending that I didn't see coming. Thank you for a very delightful read. Mel @ Yamba
I loved the character Annajane! If my children weren't grown, I would name my first child Annajane.
I actually had to re-read the description of this book to remember what it was about, even though I just listened to it. A story that revolves around a family-owned soft drink company in the south, despite the love story, was a bit thin. If Quicksie (sp?) was a real brand, I would have felt like I was listening to one long commercial. It was a bit overdone on that front. The love story and plots held my attention long enough to get me through the book but it didn't resonate at all.
No, I like a light read, especially to listen to.
Her performance was solid. No complaints there.
It was light, easy listening.
Well I personally am a huge fan of romantic comedies because they are a break from reality :) This book really delivered in a sweet story, with characters you come to "know, love and/or loathe", and it also delievered that far fetched perfect ending you find in most romantic comedies! I was really shocked with the SURPRISE that was eventually revealed near the end of the story. I look forward to reading other titles by this author.
