Mary Kay Andrews knows how to write the perfect beach read. And this one, narrated by Kathleen McInerney, is a fantastic beach listen. I didn't want it to end.
Tell us about yourself! Love listening to books in the bathtub and in the bed before I go to sleep, love James Burke, and John Grishman
Nice book, it had me laughing at loud
Like them all the same
Like her reading , very animated
It will make you forget about your days events, it made me laugh
This book was by far one of the best I've listened to from Mary Kay Andrews. The depth of the story is wonderful and the twist and turns make it continuously exciting. And the characters as so easy to fall in love with!!
Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews was a great listen. Very entertaining and Kathleen McInerney made it even more so. I loved her voices for the characters, especially Sophie.
This is the story of Annajane who has been married to Mason and then divorced, but she continued to work for the company. She also attends the wedding of Mason to his new love Celia. And it is at that point the fun begins. Enter Sophie, Mason's daughter, a five year old and completely adorable. She causes life to become interesting.
Mason's family run a soft drink company and Annajane is reluctantly leaving to go down to be with her new love Shane. Yet there are some things happening round town that gives her pause for thought. Davis her immediate boss and Mason's brother seems to be wanting to sell the company, and what does Celia have to do with that?
Loved Annajane and her close friend Pokey, sister to Mason. Pokey is straight talking and a wonderful ally for Annajane. The two of them are the complete opposites of the two other very bitchy unlikeable women in the novel.
Mason was a very responsible and family guy, although he and Annajane had made strange choices early on. I thought he was a little slow where Celia was concerned, especially as in everything else he was discerning.
A very enjoyable listening experience. Now to look out another Mary Kay Andrews' book!
The story was rich with a lot of ends that could have been left loose but MKA paid a lot of attention to tying up all loose ends. This was her best story BY FAR, and I have listened to over 15 of her books, including the entire Callahan Garrity series. Very entertaining and so well done!
I couldn't stop listening. I was so anxious to find out the terms of the estate. Excellent book I jwould just like the reader to get the pronunciation of southern words right, like kudzu and Dekalb.

Great story - interesting characters - held my attention - couldn't wait to pick it back up until it was finished - very entertaining
Loved this story. Being from the south myself, I appreciated all the details that were incorporated into the dialogue. I also love the narrator!!! She is the reason why I got this book to begin with. She has a real talent in bringing the characters to life.
