This is certainly one of the best books I have ever read...so powerful, uplifting, yet tragic, too.
The narration is incredibly well done...and the interview with the author after the reading makes this even more special.
I wasnt sure whatbto think about this book. I went in open minded and was more than pleasantly surprised. An awesome story about a more than awesome man and his life as a Husband, Father and ultimately a US Navy Seal. Thank you Mr Blehm and the Narrator Paul Michael for telling a fantastic story.
You don't have to be a military buff to be captivated by this man's life story. Becoming and being a Navy SEAL is amazing in itself...yet what he fought through in his personal life is truly jaw dropping. I sobbed like a baby...and laughed...and just thoroughly enjoyed this.
I've been encouraging everyone I talk to to read this book, even those that don't have an interest in military books, this one is one of my new favorite reads of all time.
The whole experience of Adam Brown in his early years was very humbling. It was astounding what the man accomplished and the support he got from his wife and family.
A story of remarkable bravery even after going to the depths of despair. Adam Brown is a hero who should be celebrated. It is also heart wrenching. Definitely worth hearing.
This is a fabulous story about a young man who absolutely hit rock bottom and the story of his climb to the elite of the elite the military Navy SEALs.
The author sets out not to tell another story about elite military operators but rather the story of a man from youth, as a young adult, and then finally as elite warrior. The struggles, the successes and ultimately the highest priced one can pay for our freedom.
