There are definitely some usable ideas and 'tools' in this book that can change the way you go through life if you're willing to change. But then again, most books do... if you're willing.
What disturbed me is the religious undertone in this book. The authors claim in multiple parts in this book that it's impossible to use these tools if you don't accept that the universe has some sort of supreme intelligent being behind the controls, or something in that line. I don't have anything against religious people, but I feel audible should clearly mark this book for what it is.
If they had done so, I wouldn't have bought it.
I've got a few relatively complex questions. I'm not sure they, would be welcomed in this setting...
However, how Aware of us are you guys meaning to suggest and depict Higher forces to be of us?
I know notifed that you've somewhat addressed this question in the FAQs...
And I've been helped greatly by my efforts towards applying thankfulness. ... Which
seems to get me pass my preoccupations with it most of the time...
But is it possible to avoid some of the false interpretations presented or does that really matter?
There was a very powerful story from Kabbalah and I would love to find that story in writing- one downside of audiobooks I suppose!
Yes I would try another book by the authors.
Some of the tools resonated more than others. The ones that did stand out were really good. The ones that did not fell a little flat.
Their own personal story and their experiences.
I have listened to a few self-help audiobooks and this book by far, has the most practical prescriptions to handle day to day crisis. The book is well laid out and the final tool ensures that the user makes a concious attempt to utilize the right tool for a given situation. In addition to this book, I love the app available on the itunes store. Be sure to download the app once you have grasped the key concepts of the various tools.
Learning about being a victim and moving into being a creator
Loved them both
Yes, working through the pain, one's comfort zone instead of shrinking back into victim mode.
Very freeing book.....it works!!
Psychology mixed with New Age. Nothing new. Just a waste of time and money. Two more guys that had no business writing a book. Absolutely nothing scientific here - nothing provable. Might as well take LSD or go on an Aborigial Walkabout. I couldn't even stand to finish it. Biggest disappointment of ANY Audible book I have ordered, ever.
