Someone who likes to listen to people brag about their own accomplishments.
Got tired of hearing how wonderful he thought he was.
This book, which is an incredible collection of stories, hits the nail on the head when it comes to articulating what "love" really is and more accurately, what it does. It's a light read that will also challenge you to live a life of abundance- the kind of life we were all meant to live.
Loved the humor, courage, and just do it attitude of this book! If you are looking for something to encourage and motivate you to take action and have fun doing it, read this book!
The reading style was engaging and the voice pleasant. You could almost hear the laugh in his tone as he told the stories.
Yes! This book inspires me to do less talking and more walking. Too often we miss the God prompts because we get in our head but God wants the church to e people of action this book will inspire you to do, because love does!
Bob shares wonderful stories, every chapter is a new adventure.
Faith requires actions, and often times we are too busy telling ourselves a lie when God is looking for us to take action.
Too many to mention. Bob's example of love without placing expectations on people was refreshing.
Great Book! Put it at the top of your to-read list you won't disappoint.
Though Goff's writing seems to walk the line between "be irresponsible; everything will work out somehow!" and "prepare well to do great things" his message of living to the fullest of one's abilities in following Christ is excellent. His stories are varied and often humorous. I was pleased to hear his rumbling voice smooth out over the beginning few chapters, too. I do wish there were more theory to balance the examples given but that's merely my subjective preference.
