I've enjoyed all the Women's Murder Club books but the narrator was not good. It was hard to listen to and I think it ruined the entire book for me. This was the worse story in the Women's Murder Club and I've listened to them all.
Almost anyone else! Michael Boatman/Scott Sower, Carolyn McCormick.
I enjoy women murder club bools, until you changed the narrator. I read the first 10 and the narrator nailed the characters and the story line! Now working on number 11 it's just disappointing.
It seemed like I missed something and I had to keep checking to see if I had the abridged version... Not my favorite.
Reading allows me to travel through time; to visit the world's unique and stunning places. To become somebody I am not... It is glorious.
Unfortunately I bought books 9, 10, 11 and 12 all on the same day. What a mistake. The truth is the series just keeps getting incrementally worse. Mr Patterson's books can be phenomenal… think Violets Are Blue. The first few of this series were quite good. But the previous four (five?) books aren't well written. I would love to see the writing collaboration stop and the time between novels to lengthen so that Mr Patterson can return to his finest form.
I like these women, but I won't be reading any more after #12.
Long haul Expeditor that loves listening to books and make the miles fly by.
Yes, I would and have because it's a good series
I love the whole story save the narrator...
I don't like her very much at all she's doesn't do the story justice at all. I really wish they would bring back Carlyn McCormick she does Lindsay Boxer and the gang so much better than January, Carlyn is Lindsay in my opinion and January just can't hold a candle to her.
I really wish they would stop changing the people that read these books in the middle of a series. Just like another series I used to listen to this one has changed it midstream and it's just not the same having someone else read the stories especially when your listening to the books back to back its rather distracting to have the author all of the sudden change while listening to the series. I really hope they bring back Carolyn McCormick as she does the series better justice then January LaVoy.
