“I am the wife to a wonderful man, the mom to two sweet doggie boys. I'm all about the dog stories fiction or non!
I would, and I just might. This was a perfect continuation of the A Dog's Purpose... Interwoven and just captivating. I didn't want it to end. All of the small details that went into this book are amazing. Things you had to think about, and then things that made you giggle uncontrollably! LOVED IT!
The end when he/she finally got to go to be with all those he/she had loved!
I think they were all good, but MAX and his big attitude was kind of special!
Yes, I listen to books in the car on the way to and from work. I could not wait to get in the car to get back to it.
I loved this book, just as much as the first book. This tale of the unconditional love of a dog shows the known true colors of a dog being a guardian, protector, and companion. Anyone who loves dogs should read this book; instead of seeing through the human point of view, enjoy seeing through the dog point of view filled with the humor and reality of life, unfolding for us to see in the eyes of the protagonist. I believe any doglover would enjoy this book, if they are as crazy about animals as I am :)
feelers. nothing but feels. I cried and cried and cried. I see your ol' yelled raise you a where the red fern grows and still....
Most definitely! My friends are dog (and animal) lovers like me, and I am constantly telling them to listen to these books if they want to have a great experience. It is so fun to listen to a story being told to me, especially when the narrator is as good as George.
I loved all of the story, so it is tough to pick one thing. I did love that when Bailey came back as Buddy, he was with the same family of Ethan, just at a later time, so he was able to stay with his family.
It's a tie between Buddy and Molly. George really caught their essences and soul in his voice and emotions while reading. When listening to him, I could actually visualize each character in the story.
I would probably take Gloria, a surprising choice, but only because I would want to have her in front of me when I light into her for being such a miserable and narcissistic princess.
What a fun story about the many wonderful lives of one dog. I love that with each rebirth, the current incarnation can remember all of his/her past lives. Again, Bailey/Buddy/Molly are with the same family, just at different times in their lives. George's narration is also wonderfully emotive and lets me visualize each character. The way he narrates also made me laugh.
I just finished listening to this on Audible after finishing the 1 book , A Dog's Purpose. I really enjoyed both books. I loved the route these stories took. The first book made me cry....often. Actual sobs. But I lived how the series ended and can only hope it is true.
im 34yrsyoung &this book along w/a Dogs Purpose is my Favorite. Thankyou 2the author &narrator
I just loved the first book, and this one is even better cause you already love the dog. This just made me laugh, cry and love my pets more everyday, even understands them better. It is a must for everyone who have or had a dog
