“I am the wife to a wonderful man, the mom to two sweet doggie boys. I'm all about the dog stories fiction or non!
I would, and I just might. This was a perfect continuation of the A Dog's Purpose... Interwoven and just captivating. I didn't want it to end. All of the small details that went into this book are amazing. Things you had to think about, and then things that made you giggle uncontrollably! LOVED IT!
The end when he/she finally got to go to be with all those he/she had loved!
I think they were all good, but MAX and his big attitude was kind of special!
Yes, I listen to books in the car on the way to and from work. I could not wait to get in the car to get back to it.
I loved this book, just as much as the first book. This tale of the unconditional love of a dog shows the known true colors of a dog being a guardian, protector, and companion. Anyone who loves dogs should read this book; instead of seeing through the human point of view, enjoy seeing through the dog point of view filled with the humor and reality of life, unfolding for us to see in the eyes of the protagonist. I believe any doglover would enjoy this book, if they are as crazy about animals as I am :)
i have now listed to both the original and the sequel and i fully enjoyed both. you'll never look at your dog the same way after reading these. thry are clever and funny and heart warming as well.
Following A Dog's Purpose, this book delivers a different approach to the storyline. A great continuation of the lives we were following. On top of it another great performance!
Every day I looked forward to the life amd adventures of all the chatacters and of course .. the star our beloved dog .
I shoupd have read a dog's purpose first. But even so that its kinda backwards Im gonna hear it anyways :) This book gives us all hope of what could be waiting on the other side. I have DEFINATELY bonded more with my dog .My FIRST dog at 58yrs of age .What an amazing journey awaits me..ENJOY amd thank you Mr. Cameron for sharing your thoughts on a dogs journey :)
I am amazed at how well the author captures the very essence of dog. I love everything about both of these books.
The ending is wonderful. No spoilers here ... Let's just say I had no idea how the author could end it well, but he does.
Everything. He IS Buddy/Molly/Max, etc.
CJ. Such a deep, complicated person who is, at the same time, very simple and straight forward.
Both of these books are now among my all-time favorites. I truly dreaded the story ending when I would have to let these characters -- especially the dogs-- go. I listened to it commuting with my 16 yr old, who started out annoyed because he preferred to listen to his rap music. He came around. Last week he actually said "I miss the dog book!"
