Probably at some point.
At first I didn't think I would be able to listen to this narrator. She was talking so fast at first, and everything was running together. It really got on my nerves. I don't know if she got better as the book went along or if I just got used to her, but by the end it didn't bother me as much.
At first I was unsure of this book because of the age difference of the characters, but it turned out to be okay. Parts of the book are unrealistic, but I read for escapism so that never bothers me as long as it's a good story.
Yes. I thought this book was well written and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I felt like I was actually watching a movie. There were parts she read that had I read it myself I may not have interpreted the same way she portrayed it.
A lover of thrillers and enthralling stories told by dramatic and well read narrators.
When I first saw this book come up in a search, I thought that it would be a well paced, survival story of two people hoping to be rescued from a remote island. What I got was a sappy, inappropriate love story between a 30 year old woman and a 17 year old. The first quarter of the story has the two stranded on the island for an insane amount of time before getting the story going.
The use of one narrator for a book that tries to tell the story from both character's points of view was annoying, as the poor production quality (too many fast, and unnatural cuts) made it hard to follow who I was hearing from until I heard a line about the boy's sex drive brought me back to earth.
I was going to try and finish it--but I can't bring myself to do it. I for one can appreciate a good story, no matter who it's for, but this one was sorely missing it.
It was the first audio book and i did enjoyed it.
Heidi's voice was easy to listen to.
When they finally struck up a romance.
I could picture the Island and the story vividly in my mind. It kept my interest even driving on the Interstate!
Not sure but would have picked someone who could distinguish voices of the characters better.
It was irresistable
I really enjoyed this story. It was well written and just the right amount of suspense. It was a very intriguing book that kept me wanting to know what is going to happen next?? The reader was great.
The story was easy to follow, no unusual parts that kept you guessing. Also there war no boring parts as so many books have.
Her voice was very calm and pleasant.
I read mostly non-fiction but occasionally like to mix in some fiction but it'd hard to find anything decent on audible.com. This was a lovely surprise. A beautiful little story with a narrator that fit the story so well.
The story is simple, somewhat unrealistic, but at the same time highly enjoyable!
I loved T.J. Perhaps it was his circumstances, but he knew what he liked from the moment he decided. He never looked back on what could have been or what might be.
Anyone. The narrator had too much of a sing-song style. She read way too fast and did not let the emotion of the circumstances show through in her voice. Wish I would have read this story than listened to it.
It was a nice, cheesy love story.
It was extremely unrealistic.
I found the narrator's voice to be slightly irritating
not my favorite--half the time i found this book dull, even dumb. the narrator read too fast too and that took away from the overall experience. i found it difficult to even finish and that's rare for me. all that said, i can't recommend this one.
