YESS! it was such a cute story (not talking about their intimate relationship)
fifty shades of grey, and fifty shades darker. they are all from the same series and are also GREAT!
nope, all of it
there needs to be more books added to the series, it was so great. i would love to be part of the movie. maybe as the daughter as a teen! :)
Being My Best
This is a very well written series about two people with their own set of challenges to overcome. I think the average person might judge this series as way outside of the usual, but when we consider the dysfunction in our own families, these two characters are not all that unusual. This is a story much more about change, compromise and the working out of the most important relationship in our lives.
The metamorphosis of Christian is the most memorable part of the series.
At first I didn't like her "Christian" voice ~ but it became more Christian like.
No way. I liked savoring this book.
Read it. Listen to it. Enjoy it.
I love this trilogy! I read it in print first but instead of re-reading I decided to listen instead. It's kind of hard to get past the female voice speaking Christian's words but, if you can get past that, it's well worth the price.
Yes, only because if the book is part of a triology I will finish what I began in hopes that the author presently is able to surprise me with a an unusual expected finish.
I am presently listening to part two of the 50 shades of grey.
The narrator in my opinion has an annoying pitch of tone, and an not so pleasant voice. Her attempts of changing between character's to imitate other people were dreadful. Her acting abilities were very poor. I would never choose to listen to Miss Becca again unfortunately.
I would cut all of the many repetitious header quotes about the to and from email messages ( Dear Mr. Christian Grey , title, date and time, content) as that was boring, repetitive, and unnecessary. Then I would edit out all of the repetition of the actions between the character's. As a reader it was an insult to my intelligence to imply that I last the ability of memory recall.
I'm a single mother of 2 great kids, and we live in a small town in MI with our 2 eccentric cats.
Overall, I enjoyed the way that the author tied the story together and "freed" the characters from their own demons that they fought daily. However, I felt that much of the epilogue portion of the book was redundant.
Becca Battoe's performance was similar to the first two books in the series.
Fewer redundant phrases. Oh my, was it me or was everyone muttering or murmuring? I was distracted by Ms. James' elementary vocabulary. My brown eyes were dark and burning. I wear my hair in a short natural. How many times can Mr. Grey tuck a wild strand of hair behind Ana's ear? Buy hairpins for her!
No... won't read HER books any more.
She slaughtered the French language. She must be young. There were English words she pronounced incorrectly. She transposed words and skipped others. Nuances in the written word were misinterpreted. She is not a great reader!
Any scenes involving previously used steps/phrases. Ms. James sorely needed a thesaurus!
Glad I completed the books. On to better reading...
less murmuring and flushing
less murmuring and flushing, better writing. Use a thesaurus. I literally winced every time either of those words was used. If it were a drinking game, Id be dead.
I wasnt going to listen to the 3rd book, but the way the 2nd book left off, I was intrigued.
I'm typically a murder, suspense, & thriller type reader; however, I'm expanding, exploring, & expanding my interests.
It kept me wanting more, but I don't think I'd read it again. I did read the first book twice though.
This series reminds me of the Bared series. I personally prefer Fifty.
The narration & performance was GREAT!
It took be about 2 days to finish this book.
I wasn't thrilled with how it ended for some reason...
not writing it at all
something from james patterson
when she tried to talk in a deep voice
major disappointment, I don't get all the hipe this series is getting it is no better than a cheap porn movie
This was the book I disliked the least. Too predictable. Ana too annoying. Too many returned phrases. Plus it starts of when they are already married and going through flashbacks which is something I didn't not like. It made me confused what was going on. This book wraps everything up in a nice little bow. You know she changes him to see the bright side. Everything becomes realized. It is just too neat. It started off as a book that was like normal life to a fantasy. The fight then have make up sex about two seconds later. They are horny all the time. Even in the epilogue. It was just too much and everything happens so fast and wrapped up too perfectly.
Also hate when she call him fifty.
