Let me first say, I've listened to the entire trilogy in less than 7 days.
This book was my least favorite. Battoe, the narrator, I've grown accustomed to. Reading some of the chapters of the actual book, I find I prefer the audio version to print, due to the repetitious nature of the author's phrases, descriptions and words.
The final book in the trilogy, i was tired of hearing every detail of the couple's copulation every other hour of a day. I appreciated that James cut it short at times, the other times, i just set the playback to x1.5 (thanks Audible!) To me, this final installment related a lot to the Twilight series, which I wasn't particularly fond of. I found myself impatient to get back to the story line rather than dwell in sexual details that we are all very apt to at this point.
However, the brief action is good, the storyline is entertaining and the epilogue was interesting and enticing enough to make me feel like I am now empty inside not having the trilogy to listen to every free hour of my days.
Just getting started at audible, looking forward to some good books! I work in a library, you would think I would get tired of books but I don't ever get to read so I am going to listen :).
Was very romantic
I listened to the rest of the series, it was great
Made me not want to put it down
Wish it would have kept going!!

I really enjoyed the first two books and thought I'd do things differently for the third book and listen to it in audio format. Jogging with headphones and listening to this is tolerable enough, but when listening in the car during my commute, there were certain times when stopping at a traffic light I couldn't hit the mute button fast enough. Embarrassing and funny at the same time. I'm sure my face was red on many occasions even as I pretended to act nonchalant.
I'm also pretty sure that reading the book would have been more enjoyable than listening to it. After listening to The Help, I couldn't help feeling the narrater could have transformed herself into the character better. I was also put off by the constant "Oh my!" and "inner goddess" phrases in audio format. While I read the first two books, I'm sure those phrases were repeated as much, it just seemed annoying when listening to it. I also kept waiting for the kinky stuff to happen. Isn't that what this series was built around? Did I mention the embarrassment of listening to the love scenes with the top down? (I know I did, but it's worth mentioning twice : )
In Conclusion: If you're a guy, read this book and listen to "The Help" instead.

The suspense on all levels...the climatic middle story the filled in the mystery blanks of Grey's past.
She matures and finds her own voice, will and power.
A definite re-read or listen
Becca Battoe was not my favorite person to listen to. EL james wrting made the protagonist sound so self conscious it was painful to listen to
I never read the series.
I enjoyed the last section giving the background of Christian from his perspective.
I felt it was difficult to stop only because I wanted to hear the end of the story.
I enjoyed the witty banter from the emails.
I love to read southern fiction, family sagas, romance and a bit if fantasy
I read the kindle version of the first in the series. I wish I;d done that with the next two. The narrator was very distracting,
The couple falling in love and getting to know each other on a deeper level. There was more plot action in this one also. I like the idea of being loved in spite of your issues.
I was fine with her as Ana but her pronunciation of words needs work, The book needed a male for Christian.
Yes I listened to this one while I was very busy and I wanted to be left alone to finish.
I resisted getting these despite friends & family knowing I'd like the story. I shouldn't have waited so long, I adore a good love story.
I will not of course write anything negative. I love the series, Love the audio version of it. and can not wait for the movie to come out. Until then I will re read and listen to the audio book again. :)
I have not listened to anything else narrated by Becca Battoe.
Tons but I am not going to out myself ha.
Just a great book.
The writing has to be better than that of a young child...It is comparable to porn films calling themselves movies...
Same story line over and over
the ability to read a book without sitting down to read a book~
The first 2 books were better. Last one was really trying to grasp at straws. The other reviews talked about a male voice- it was all done by the female for my version
