Yes I would recommend this book, infact I have already. In order to do so, however I would warn my friends to not pass judgment until they finish the series and it is a series and does not quite stand up alone.
My most memorable moment of the book was Christian's reaction to Bella telling him she was pregnant. He was totally out of control.
I was moved by the epilogue when Christian was a little boy and it was Christmas, He would not speak.
To E.L. James. I wish you had told what happened to Jack. In fact I would have had Taylor get him killed in jail. I also think that you could have slowed things down just a little.I hope one day you will revisit Ana and Christian. I loved the characters and the story. The sex, was fun but repetitious, the characters will remain with me forever.
Hot, Sexy, Cinderella story
Knowing that Christian has become a happy father.
At first the romance grabs you in the first book, then the story line makes you want to finish it.
There is a lot of sex, but it is well written in that regard. Not your typical romance novel vocabulary. Those tend to make you roll your eyes, Fifty Shades makes you need a cold shower.
It was a fun and easy read.
Well.... it made my husband happy.
Definitely a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. Could not put it down!
When Ana wakes up in the hospital and realizes that Christian truly loves her (and blip).
Explore the delicious conflict between the id and the superego
I wish there was a set of 3 companion books, written from Christian's perspective!
I have read other E.L. James books...love the stories...Becca was ok, but didn't care for some of the voice changes she used for male characters. Should have been more than one reader...would have improved interpretation.
I know there is a lot of disagreement about this series. Sad that people who critized it never read the whole thing. Loved watching the character development as the books progressed! Would have been nice if people looked past the shook factor parts of the book. They were necessary, steamy, and fun...but the story was what kept me reading.
I have listened to many books...Becca did ok, but didn't care for some of her male character reading. As Ana she was perfect.
I certain have recommend this audiobook to friends and family alike. It is written very well. With such detail it makes you want to be right there with Mr. Grey. I haven't been able to pick up another book be because nothing can compare how these are written.
I laughed, cried and enjoyed all parts of this books. It was over whelming to know that an author could not only make his charaters. become involved in such radical behavier, but to have the readers also have so much interest in these books, to not be able to put them down is undoing in itself. The explosion of sex is what you would want your parter to be but would never want anyone to know he/she was. This is the secret life we all fantasize about but never ask to do.
A great love story, I could not put it down
The suspense of what was going to happen next
I thought she did a good job
After listening to the story a 2nd time, I thing Becca did a good job of differentiating the characters. At first I didnt think so, but listening to it again I could appreciate it again.
Yes. Even though there is a lot of sexual content the story line goes much deeper.
Grey being freed, of course!
Yes. I listened to the first two books in the series and she does an excellent job.
Guess the best way to put it was mixed emotions. That was one of the nice features of the book. It took me through the full gamut.
Did not think I was going to like this series when I first started Fifty Shades but the story line had me hooked at the end of the first book.
Yes, you get to really understand each character as the role is being played. Its great I have been really loving audible more than print reading...so very relaxing and private too.
Mr. Gray, Taylor
