The narrator was horrible. Her voice for Christen Grey was awful! For lack of a better description she made him sound like a transvestite with a cold. I had to give up and go back to reading the book. I just could handle listening to her anymore.
I hated the narrator which is why I couldn't listen to this book. She bored me half to death. Instead of listening to it, I just found some cheat notes and learned about what happened that way. It was much better than the torture of listening to that woman's voice kill what might have been a decent book.
A new narrator and author for starters.
I shouldn't have wasted my money on this series. I know better next time not to follow fades and to listen more to others feedback.
I love to listen to audiobooks. It is great when the narrators get into the story and really bring the characters to life.
I have read many bad reviews on this series. Could the story have been written better? Yes, but only in the very beginning. The story is a bit extreme at times, but you need to read all three books to get the total story. The author did a great job with this story, in my opinion. The narrator got better as the story progressed.
I enjoy the print version because it is completely my imagination with no interference.
I wanted to learn the whole story of Christian's upbringing that caused him such sadness until he met Ana. I like how I felt what the characters were feeling and that I could actually relate to some of the craziness. I just fell in love with the characters.
Ana. She sounded young, feisty, and strong when she needed to be.
In this book it was when Ana had to tell Christian that she was leaving him. He was devastated and her heart was wrenched having to say that. It showed how much Christian didn't believe that he deserved happiness because he believed it so quickly. I cried.
I would have liked to find out why Ana had such low self esteem. That seemed to be an underlying issue that was never truly addressed. I absolutely love this story! I was happy that everything turned out the way it did. Christian and Ana deserved to be happy.
Love the reader, she inspires the part.
Just a nice love story.
I just was engrossed in the entire story.
Easy read, nice read. Books get better each time! Wish there were more!
I am a busy sports mom listening to romance only. If the narrator is good and it has a decent plot, I will find it enjoyable.
People say this book isn't very realistic and not very well written, but I totally disagree. It's a beautiful story of how a man can treasure a woman and how a woman should never lose herself to a man. I have read this mulitple times. I absolutely love this story and learn something each time.
Read this book before listening to the audio and I thought she made Ana sound extremely young, much younger than 22, but I enjoy the story so much, I didn't allow it to hinder the story.
Great story content in this book 3. This is by far the best book yet in this series !
I can't wait for book 4 to come out !
I just finished this series and was on the edge until the last book and now I like them a lot.I understand Christian better and now like him much better.
TAKE ME NOW
The formation of the characters and touching the boundaries of the author. It kept me listening and when I could not listen I was reading. I couldn't put it down I needed to know more and to be transported to their world.
I think they should have talked about his childhood more, to explain why he is the way he is.
The Fall of Giants Series
She was boring and sounded unbelievable, her reading/acting skills need work. It was hard to get into the story because of the way it was read.
All the repeated phrases they kept saying. We already heard them in the first two books.
I was hoping the book would have been better. I didn't want to finish, but felt like it might get better, it really didn't.
