Unfortunately the middle of chapter 26 was very confusing, two years disappeared. It was difficult to follow the reading. In fact from the middle of ch 26 to the end, it felt like the author was just trying to complete the book and I felt much was missing. I found the ending lacking.
I thoroughly enjoyed it was more than expected it's more like a love story with different forms of sexual experiences if you will. I did very much so enjoy it.
The narrator read beautifully. The story line was thin. I kept listening thinking the story would get more twists, turns, sexually explicit. It was disappointing overall. It would be good for young 20 year old readers who dream of a fantasy life!
I enjoyed the series, however, in this book there were too many sex scenes as fillers. It became mundane and proved the ol' cliche as true, that too much of a good thing is not good. I would have enjoyed more substance in their story aside from unrequited love. Their doting aspirations became unrealistic and down right boring. Saying it a couple times is enough for a reader, I didn't need to be drilled. More intrigue, suspense and action would be good, just like the second book.
I've read this series twice and enjoyed it more the first time. It was worth reading again but no more for me. I would read another novel by E.L. James. Her work can only get better and I'm grateful for her talent and bringing Mr Gray into my life. lol
Love to read and when i'm busy I'll take an audiobook.
For some reason people think the book is all about sex...ok it is!! But, there is a story line that develops in the midst of all the hot, steamy and very descriptive sexcapades.
I wished we could have learned more about how Christian's love for Anastasia developed. We only get to see a glimpse of the story from Christian point of view at the end and
it left me wanting more!!!
It would be lovely to see a version of this love story narrated by Mr. 50 Shades!!!
