Say something about yourself!
For me this book didn't flow as well as the first. I found that I would listen for awhile and then go off for another book and then come back for a few more hours. I will admit that I was also reading The Passage by Jusin Cronin; which was a very addicting book, so I didn't fairly give this book the attetion I might have.
As expected this book went farther into the innner workings of the characters and was interesting. The sex toward the end of the book was weird kinky but hey, whatever floats your boat.
I will be reading the last book in the trilogy because I really do want to know what happens with these two and have hopes for a happy ending.
By far...the best book I've listened to!
The relationship that grew between Anastasia & Christian!
The relationship evolves as Christian severs his ties to Elena and asks Anna to be his wife. A helicopter crash brings all together and resolves many issues. Christian buys Anna's publishing firm and gets rid of her lecherous boss. Both parties compromise in their relationship expectations.
I don't agree with the weak character of the girl. But as a mom I need to be aware of what is there and things my daughter could read and how to prevent this kind of weakness.
Yes because I can and it was good
The kinky fu@$ery
Very nice voice
A pretty decent fanticy played out
After such a devastating ending of the first book, this one turns into a true love story. The couple share their feelings and face thier fears. The characters change, grow. It's really entertaining.
The most memorable is the couple's discovery of how much they love each other and how hard they are willing to change to be together.
My favorite is the wait after the accident.
Maybe not. There are some parts can be trying to be listening to for so long. It's preferred to take some pauses.
Many people give up reading the triology after the first book. I think people should give it a try. It's different from the first one.
dislike Battoe's performance in the first book but the story was good. The second book is boring so Battoe's is just getting on my nerves...
Not publish it
50...or rather Christian Grey
If you consider yourself a follower of Christ do not read this book.
I am sorry to say that I did and it took me months to recover from the imagery that these words created in my mind and my heart. I repented and had to detox from its filth. I thought a man wrote it and hated women. But, was really shock to learn it was a woman! It is certainly pornography in a book and who ever plays the character Christian and Anastatia will have to be single, otherwise, there will be divorces and breakups. on the otherhand, even if they were single what would this filth do to their soul.
Please be warned...the world will do what they will, but since we name the name of Christ let us be counted worthy to be named with Him. Reading this book is not worth the consequences that will follow. Find another love story to read, like Love Comes Softly. Just stay away from this stuff. If this post makes you all the more curious...don't be...remember Eve. Don't part take of this kind of knowledge - it is un-wholesome, unholy and ungodly in content. In fact, it had an occult nature about it.
Peace and blessing to you
Yes, and I have. The ending is great, although it does tend to wander a bit in the middle.
great to get more insight into Christian's background and love the additional characters.
Have never seen the print version
Anastasia was my favorite as I can really relate to her innocence at the beginning and her growth towards the end of the books.
This was a very enjoyable study in relationships. I particularly enjoyed the interactions with the family.
