Yes, in my instance, as I drive a lot.
Like them all
Not fond of the narrators voice.
Love the books so far! Great story lines, I love the continuity of the characters, it makes them feel real. You feel connected to them. I especially got a kick out the reference to Eve & Roarke from the In Death series, very smooth :)
Right up there. I didn't want it to end and was very disappointed to learn that the third book hasn't been released yet... I wanted to go straight into it. This is a lovely romantic story.
It is slightly predictable in that it is pretty clear from the start (even from the first book) who will end up with whom, but that anticipation of the inevitable is part of the romance for me.
It was a nice surprise that the second book in the trilogy is from the point of view of a different character than the first.
The second book in the Inn Boonsboro Trilogy is great. You get to be there for the steps and turns in getting the Inn ready to open. Avery and Owen's relationship turns in to a romance in this book. Clare and Beckett are getting ready for there wedding. Then you learn more about the ghost that lives in the Inn. The narration has the same problems that the first book has, the narrator has a small problem with female and children voices. Then the reading is slow, which I think suits this books.
This is a wonderful story & series. I love the small town-known you my whole life theme. Nora Roberts continues to amaze me with her talent. The narrator greatly improved from the first book. He made the older women sound not quite so elderly and the children sound like children now not cartoon characters. I really enjoyed both books in this series & can't wait for the 3rd to come out next month.
I'm hooked on this trilogy! I would like it to move along a little bit faster but it is still romantically slow. I am anxiously waiting for the the third book!
I really enjoyed the performance of this book. The story was a great continuation of the first in the series, The Next Always, but stands on it's own too.
Best? I think the twist that I will not reveal for the others who haven't experienced the story yet. Plus the secondary characters of Owen's mother and Avery's father.
I like hearing books performed by men. Mr. MacLeod's narration is a good cadence and tone. I think when I listen to a book I actually hear more of the story than when I just read it myself.
Very enjoyable performance. I look forward to more romance narrations from this performer.
Great book. I always love the Nora Roberts' trilogies. But I wasn't a fan of the male narrator. I would definitely listen to another book narrated by him unless one of the two main characters is female. His narration of all of the male characters was wonderful and very easy to differentiate between each character. The female characters sounded silly and like audio characitures. The older the female, the worse it was. The main female character, Avery, was better than the rest but if she got emotional or excited she sounded juvenile. I do like Mr. Andrews' voice and look forward to hearing him narrate more but hope that his 'lady voices' gain the same depth he gave the male characters.
Yes, Love Nora Roberts Series
A Little slow at first, but will definitely listen to last book in series when available
