I so enjoy Audible...helps me get my to-do list accomplished.
I fell in love with the characters in the book. I felt committed and vested after listening to the first book. The personalities made me laugh and were so relatable
All of it...especially loved Lizzy!
Can't say enough about MacLeod...he must be one hunk of a man to be able to capture the rough and tough and sweet and tender! Amazing!
Avery...loved her...I want to be more like her...strong yet not full of herself...so real.
Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. Her books are enjoyable in both the reading and audible formats.
How the book told the story of both characters and how their lives intertwined through out all of their lives and how the ghost helped them along
I love all the characters but Lizzie is a great one
yes but I couldn't
Yes! The story line through the series is great and the characters are so diverse!
New to Audible, but already addicted.
The love story.
Beckett. Enjoyed his discoveries of how much he could want and love another.
I did like the narrator.
The Last Boyfriend is the 2nd book of the Inn Boonsboro Trilogy and what a book it was. Nora Roberts has such a knack for writing sexy, yet everyday guys. I particularly love this series since the characters are so easy to identify with. You find yourself wanting to be their best friends, live in their town, date their guys, forgetting they aren't “real”.
Avery McTavish and the Montgomery boys have been friends forever. Avery’s mom left when she was little leaving her father to raise her alone. The Montgomery family stepped in and added to the family her father and she didn't have. There isn't a time that she hasn't loved the Montgomery’s, but Owen Montgomery, in particular, has always had her heart.
Owen Montgomery along with his brothers have their hands full renovating the Inn BoonsBoro, keeping up with the myriad of additional projects their mother comes up with and trying to find out exactly who the ghost is that lives in the Inn. Life is busy, but good. He is surrounded by the family he loves in the town that he loves, doing what he's always wanted to and staying busy. God only knows why all of a sudden he's starting to see Avery in a different light. She's always been in his life. Heck, they were each other's first kiss. She was a kid, but it counts, right? His feelings are changing and they are definitely not the same feelings he had when he humored the little girl who followed him around with a huge crush.
I especially enjoyed the banter between Owen and his brother Ryder. Ryder has such a sharp, sarcastic wit and Owen had no problems keeping up. I can not wait for Ryder's story.
Say something about yourself!
Yes, but the plot seemed very predictble..
A less male macho comments from the brothers.
I hate all the cursing that Nora has put in her books the last ??? years. The stories are fantastic, especially this series, as I live less than an hour from where they are taking place, but the f bombs prevent me from completing the books. Is it necessary to be bombarded by filth? I don't think so, even in these days and times.
All the cursing, especially the f bombs.
Nora: Please clean up your books so that people other than the bottom feeders can enjoy your books again. Your friend in Brunswick.
Love audible. Great for my family, we listen together sometime.
Story not to mushy - just right. Love the playful ghost - - and the fact that love kept her rooted and grounded in the best place ever...her new home. Finding Billy and hearing his account of his life - made the story even better.
