"Sweet and feisty at once."
Well written and fast paced continuation of this trilogy. Realistic yet sweetly romantic and characters behave as real people. Liked it. Will continue w the series. Addresses the realities of relationships and the obstacles faced but in an entertaining manner that also adds some depth of insight and help in our world. Recommend. Good for driving.
"Great narration"
MacLeod Andrews does such a great job with these characters. His interpretation is perfect. I really don't think this series would work with a female narrator. I love the ghost and I love the characters. The hotel reminds me of one I go to one the Oregon Coast each winter. Nora Roberts gives enough hints about the next book, and wraps up enough about the last one to make it all very satisfying. The subplots are enjoyable in their own right. I look forward to volume 3!
"Great Story"
The narrator was just ok, but the story was so sweet and lovely that it didn't detract from my enjoyment. I laughed, I cried and I was glad I used my credit on this story. I am hoping that Hope and Ryder's story is as good as this one.
"Horrible reader"
Norah's characters always jump right out at you and grab your heart. I especially like being able to check in with the characters from the other titles in the series
Anyone but MacLeod Andrews. I almost quit listening to the book. I do not recall being annoyed with him in the previous book in the series but this time, his voice just rubbed me the wrong way. He makes some of the characters, especially Ryder, sound sinister. I am not sure what was different but he really ruined the story for me. I think he was trying to make Ryder sound macho but instead he came off sounding like the bad guy or a serial murderer....yuck and yuck. If Andrews reads the next book I am going to need to think long and hard about purchasing it in audio format.
Mr. Andrews should stick with suspense or mysteries and leave the romance titles to someone else.
"Enjoyable, but not as good as the first book"
Yes I would recommend this book. Love reading Nora's triologies!
I thought the performance was well done. He has a nice soothing voice.
Didn't like this one as much as the first as it didn't have the suspense element in it. Looking forward to the third book.
"Disappointing and hard to understand."
The follow up story was interesting.
The male narrator was terribly confusing. No difference in the male voices or female voices. I found it hard to follow and hard to finish. You never knew who was speaking when! Story was shallow and boring. Very disappointed.
Okay
Awful
Never Again
No, boring book would make boring movie.
Just disappointed. Nora Roberts books can be so good, but also can be so bad. Sometimes I wonder if she has someone else writing for her.
"Not as interesting as first"
Narrator was terrible spoilt the bearly interesting storyI waited a long time for this book and was disapointed
Change narratorMake the story line stronger
I don't know but the narrator of the first was good
Not really
Please think before printing next book as I don't like wasting my hard earned money
"Gonna be a long few months till the last book!"
I have thoroughly enjoyed both books so far. I cannot wait till the last. I honestly feel like I am there!
"Nora Roberts came back"
Finally, a good love story without murder or something terrible happening. I love the feeling of this book and cannot wait for number 3.
I love the family of people in this trilogy.
I love when he realizes that he loves her.
Yes, and a book that you like to listen to more than twenty times.
I had almost given up on Nora Robert's books because of the murder series. I want a feel good love story that gives you a happy listen.
"Book 2 is even better than Book 1"
I love the narrator. The book comes to life.
Next Always (Book 1).
Owen
I did not expect to laugh so much. I had laugh out loud moments.
I listened to the first book in the Trilogy and loved it but this one is even better, which really shocked me. Usually the first in a series is always the best. Can't wait to listen to the last book.
