It was funny how you had Walt and Anubis merge how you had her so angry and astonished and if I were a girl and I was struggling between to boyfriends I would love for them to merge. And Bess with his ugly outfit it just makes me crack up. And his BÔOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! it's just hilarious and overall it's a good book. So that's my review bye. P.S. you should make a book where Greek and Egyptian myths mix together it would bee fun to see how that would work out now i'm really saying bye. :) ;D
Our family travels full time, following mine or my husband's work schedules. we Roadschool our four children.
While doing a unit study on Egypt, I stumbled across The Kane Chronicles. And what a delight!!!
We purchased both the kindle and audioboook versions. That way my older children were able to read ahead while my youngest was able to hear the whole story.
My husband and I enjoyed the ability to team drive while still being able to 'read' to the kids for school!
My friend had bn telling me I shld check this series out for YEARS and after watching the Tut miniseries on tv I decided to finally do it! So happy I did!!! I absolutely lived for Sadie ok! And as a Sickle Cell patient it was so moving to see one of my favorite authors write our life experience into the story so beautifully. I just LOVED it!! And the way everything came together in the end is what always keeps me a fan!! Awesome work Rick!! Can't wait to see what's in store for the next series!!
This last book of the Cane Series was just as good as the first and second. Loved it. Great job of closing all the loops in the end. Truly a series that I will listen to again!!!
another fun Riordan read! Love how he teaches the reader a bit of ancient Egyptian mythology and history!
Some of the narration was quite distracting, such as when Carter is talking in Sadie's voice. The narrator for Sadie was also a bit too smug and sounded too old.
This wraps the trilogy up but not too neatly and leaves some room for further Kane adventures.
