I am a total Zombie fan. This series has an added twist to it that makes for a fresh story line. Can't wait to listen to the next book. If you are wondering should I get this? Stop it is a great story you will not be disappointed.
Possibly not. I'm starting to lose track of everyone's age which is an important detail for me to remember everyone's relation to each other.Mike acts like he's in his 30s but he really is in his mid/late 40s because his eldest child is in her early 20s. I don't even think they defined her age (Nicole). I swear that Travis' age was 15 in Book 1 but now he's 17 in Book 4. But on the timeline in the books, only 4 months has passed. It's starting to get real confusing.
character development. love bt as a character. Mikes sarcasm is refreshing in such a sad landscape
i loove great books especially mystery and suspense and gregg hurwitz
Thanks to Mark Tufo I have bought additional credits on top of the two I buy each month because I can't wait until next month to see what happens in the next two booksThe reader is excellent the dialogue is impeccable the one-liners are hilarious and the suspense is still killing me
yes, it is not like most zombie apocalypse, books, our protagonist always has snappy comebacks. Having a person like this in your group of survivors, helps to ease the stress with the sarcasm.
Mike, the protagonist. His sarcasm hides his compulsion to do what is right. He doesn't want to be singled out, but is willing to lead or follow as is needed.
He does really well delivering the sarcasm without making it obvious
finding out that Tommy had switched to his sister's Eliza's side. But we see a glimmer of hope that Tommy has not deserted Mike and the others
I know there are 5 more books but l barely got through this one.
I no longer care to read about Mike and family and friends. The whole story line just got boring to me....sorry.
