Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
Another excellent addition to this riveting series. I'm so happy to see that the series continues. Love all the books and hope there are many more to come.
A few loose end were ties up. Nothing new was learned in this book.No love interest. Nothing really happens....a lot of fluff not real beef.
The ending was a dud. More action then most of the book but still not a great ending
I lost interest in the end to this series
Rent at library. Save you cash
Good sookie book
It is just like all the other sookie books
Bill, he gets better with every book but johanna is a wonderful performer
This book felt to short, it left to much unsaid
The story seemed disjointed and thrown together at the last minute. It was as if most of the book was filler to make the deadline.
The characters did not seem true to form and the style of writing is very different from the first few books in the series.
Death of Jannelin
not really...I am very disappointed to the point that I'm not even interested in the next book.
Johanna Parker has been awesome through this entire series. She does one fantaboulous job narrating. She is Sookie!
Oh My Gosh!
I can't tell you. It would give away the plot, and I hate that. Let's just say, I track Charlaine Harris interviews and knew that she would more in this direction, but I'm sad that she did.
She's really become the voice of Sookie. I close my eyes, hear her voice and see Anna Paquin's face.
Yes, absolutely. In fact, I listened to it twice, back-to-back, to be sure I didn't miss anything.
I keep thinking that the series will "fall off" and get boring, but it just keeps getting better. What a fun time!
One of my favorite
Wide range of voices that correspond to how I think the characters would sound
Its all about Sookie!
Loved it, especially the last hour couldn't stop listening
A page turner
Sookie, hands down. She is coming into her own and evolving into a stronger female lead. Each book seems to reveal a new facet of her personality. I love her humor, strength of will and intelligence.
Eric. Parker portrays him as I see him in my mind: arrogant and shrewd.
I don't want to give too much away but the ending made me go "What?!! You can't leave it here without Sookie and Sam hashing out her feelings for him. Also I wanted to know what Eric thought of the whole thing." I am itching for the next book.
This is an excellent read and one of my favorites in the series. Definitely buy it.
Entertaining, but not engrossing. I love Sookie and can't say I regretted listening to this installment -- but I do wish more had transpired. In the end, it felt like the book was over in an hour. Maybe Charlaine is running out of ideas.
