"Disappointing!"
I am such a huge fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books, yet this one, you could easily skip it and still be up to date when the next book comes out! Such a disappointing storyline that did nothing to further the plot or the series. There was way too much of Sookie going to the shops, or doing her hair, or taking a shower, or going to sleep... I'm sure you get the picture! It tied up some very minor characters and that was about it. It was a really frustrating book, full of nothing in particular and difficult even for a fan to listen through.
"Wasn't the best from the series, but interesting."
It left more unanswered questions. Left us in the air at the end.
A little more action.
I love how she plays Sookie and Pam.
Yes. Slower than the other books, but interesting. You can tell that the series us coming to a close.
"One of the BEST to date"
Top of the list.....
Sookie predicting what the Vampires in her yard would say and Bill saying 'and I do love you more than Eric' before leaving.
When Mustafa rescues Sookie from the Rogues.
Yes
The Sookie Stackhouse series is by far one of the best series I have ever read. The stories draw you in and the characters have grown throughout the series which draws a reader in..
"Was it me? I love Sookie! So sad!"
Being inside Sookie's head for most of the book is too much for me and not all that interesting.
Johanna Parker is a remarkable narrator. She didn't have the usual high quality of material to work with on this project.
Extreme dissappoinment ...
"AT LAST THE OLD SOOKIE IS BACK!!!!!!!!"
I would highly recommend this book to a friend only if they have read the other books.
When Sookie saved Sam's life.
The emotional roller coaster between Sookie and all the characters.
"I love Sookie...."
While not as good as the first 5 or 6 books in this series I still enjoy the life of Sookie Stackhouse. I have always been team Eric but after the last book (and this book) I was a bit disappointed in Eric's character. I'm not sure where Charlaine Harris is going with this series....and I love the suspense of not knowing. I would recommend this book....it makes me want to start the series all over again!!!
"Great book in the series!!"
I did listen to it twice!! I was disappointed by book 11, I felt like this book was a great follow up! Without ruining the book, it has the back and forth of her relationship with Eric. The ending was great, I cannot wait to see where the next book goes!
"Great Book"
Charlaine Harris started to wrap up some of the lose ends from previous books. She did a great job as always.
"So happy to have Sookie back!!"
Another excellent addition to this riveting series. I'm so happy to see that the series continues. Love all the books and hope there are many more to come.
"THis book was ok. The beef and plot were misssing."
A few loose end were ties up. Nothing new was learned in this book.No love interest. Nothing really happens....a lot of fluff not real beef.
The ending was a dud. More action then most of the book but still not a great ending
I lost interest in the end to this series
