Yes, if they were going through a situation that this would help and they were a fan of Jakes
He had some good stories to help bring his point across. It was a little long winded and I tended to lose focus on the book.
Soothing, Calm, friendly, but not as engaging as the book goes on
"I listen to learn"!
Bishop jakes has an elequant speech that can sometimes leaving you saying; "what"? But his insite is priceless. Really enjoyed the book overall. Forgiveness is nigh!
Yes. This book is not as churchy as you would think. There are some bible references but overall it's just good life advice that everyone should practice.
He has a great voice for narration.
I liked this book because I was seeking person healing. This isn't a sit down and listen to in one session kind of book. It's not heavy but it's nice to listen to his stories and lessons a little at a time. A good way to digest it all. This book didn't change my life it it was a great life refresher and he offers some new and interesting perspectives.
One of the very best books I had listened to.
The down to earthness yet real.
Many were good
It is very important to let it go, and the way Mr TD Jakes brings is out is gentle yet real, I appreciate that greatly, thank you.
I enjoyed it all!
great voice and tone!
Valuable with a deep message from beginning to end.
Yes its very impowering
It was told from the hear
Read the book it will help
Yes. I intend to, want to catch pointers as I absorb guidance.
Somehow, the lists of things to do and look for seemed to give me an active, working direction.
Well, it was T D Jakes. . .
Trying to digest the theory that forgiveness is really about setting yourself free for a more fulfilling life. That is a learned and practiced way for foregiveness to play out. Valuable.
No. I will keep this book handy and I know the second listen will keep me on track
I am free!
When I seemed to be stripped down to my core, exposing all of my hurt and anger not from just one moment that I've held on to, but all incidents that has caused me to hang on to the one. It was like my soul opened and everything was poured out and filled with healing balm.
His voice is so engaging. It was like having him sit at the table with me and talk face to face.
Yes, when I realized that my un-forgiveness is a learned behavior that I picked up as I grew up.
I loved that it was narrated by the author. It's a relevant topic for anyone struggling with moving forward in their lives.
Pastor Jakes uses so many different angles to address the subject of forgiveness. It's not a religious book filled with preaching and scripture but rather a story of stories aimed at getting the listener to a place of healing and overall forgiveness.
If by listened you mean heard him speak - yes. If by listened you mean through audiobook - no.
It made me really think about where I am in my life and how forgiving other but more importantly myself can and will impact my future. I smirked and shook my head in agreement/understanding MANY times.
Overall EXCELLENT publication.
It was practical advice.
Easy to understand and to continue to follow.
Yes "Reposition Yourself Reflections" this was better because it was all him. I like to hear
him speak, and don't care to hear it second hand.
The hole things spoke to me. However, I will be listening over and over until all
wistom has come to a head and can be used in everyday life for me.
