The narration is the best I ever listen and enjoyed. Mr Stechshulte is remarkable identifying each character. I am in love with Tucker! The story line is one of the best I listen to in a long time. I couldn't stop listening. You will love the southern manner and characters.
I picked this one up on sale. I figured Nora Roberts is a sure bet, and she did not disappoint. I loved the narrator, he did a smooth southern drawl and created the appeal of the hero. His female voices were ok too. The story was kind of long, but well worth it for the surprise ending. Definitely an exciting read! I would recommend it.
I have always been a fan of Nora Roberts mysteries. However, the last few have more or less followed the same predictable formula. They are good for listening on the long commute and are entertaining though.
Carnal Innocence is a relaxing, funny, and engaging story.
I was very pleased with the conclusion.
Yes, I liked his voices; however, he isn't the best sounding female.
Tuck Me In
This was my first Nora Roberts book and now I am officially a fan!
Get the Book
I Guess all of it was memorable
I did watch the movie, and it doesn't compare with the book, The movie was O.K. but I enjoyed the book more
Get the book before you watch the movie...
I guess even Nora Roberts has a bad day. This was one of them. MIssing is the usual intelligent story line. Instead we have lots of gory murder details—I just didn't feel like filling my head with this one. Blech, feel like taking a shower.
OMGosh I loved the back story on all the characters & the fact that we got to hear their POV's every once in awhile. & the backstories were all good ones. It's been a week or 2 since the book ended & I'm missing them.
They were just so well thought out.
I loved that I could almost picture the characters. The voices from each different person were spot on & sometimes I really couldn't tell that it was the same person.
I don't want to be a spoiler alert, but when he takes the boy in to work at sweetriver you just fall a little in love with him. =)
Between Nora Roberts writing ability and Tom Stechschulte's performance, this book is a definite audible must.
