It opens a window into an untold side of a sexual relationship with a great storyline.
This story is about something few speak of out loud. It gives inside into an unexplored part of life for many.
At times the narration was to slow compared to the stories pace.
When Ann finally realized that she could no longer compromise but even leaving was detrimental to her fame of time, heart and even physical being.
I have not read a book for fun in almost 10 years. This is in part to my work schedule and what my occupation Intel's. After years of being too busy to read anything not related to work I chose this book to get back on the wagon. I obviously chose wisely. This book was absolutely addictive. I finished this book within a few days and started the second book by the end of the week. By the end of the second week I finished the second book then started the third book. This trilogy was a breath of fresh air which made me feel emotions and curiosity that I never thought that I could experience from a book. I still did not have time to actually read this book so I listened to it in Audio format so that I am still able to continue to do other things while I enjoyed this book. For the first time I am truly in LOVE with a book... (Smiley Face)
My favorite character was definitely Christian Grey. I aspire to be more astute and driven like his character without the 50 shades of "Fu(expletive) Up"
Again this was the first book I listened to in Audio. Becca Battoe was magnificent
Absolutely.. The only reason I didn't was because I have a job to do
Love.. Love.. Love
I blushed and gushed and all the rest that comes with it. I was completely thrilled to find out there were 2 more books. I loved loved loved this!!
It doesn't compare!
Oh my. Thats hard to say I had tons of favorites. The one that made me cry was when she left 50. I knew it was going to come to it.
Almost all. It was very hard to put down. I was eager to read more and hear Christians voice in my head.
Fabulous job to the author and becca for reading it!
I don't remember a time that I didn't read. I love numerous genre including mystery, thriller, historical. erotic romance, horror.
I love the way Becca handled the narration. The story line moved at a great pace. Caught you in the first chapter and continued to move you toward a dom/sub relationship. Had to immediately read the other 2 books in the trilogy to follow the growing of both Christian and Anastasha.
I liked that the erotica wasn't forced down your throat so to speak. It was handled in a respectful manner and allowed the reader to follow along and decide what their hard limit would be.
Becca became Anastasha. She read with feeling and emotion and brought the story to life.
When Anastasha left Christian. It was very hard to "see" because the reader knew that they were really in love.
I liked the main characters; they were fantasy characters, which was great. It's fun to jump into an ideal world.
I liked the main character the best but that's probably because she's the one you spend the most time with.
I enjoyed this book, and the series more than I thought I would.
A lot of people are down on this book for it not being super porn, and I don't know why. It's not listed as "The Porniest Book Ever!" - I feel like people want to attack this book and series because they're looking for something to be mad at. It's an entertaining book and series. I finished the first and wanted to find out what happened in the second and third books. They were all entertaining, and that's what I was looking for.
Sensual, erotic, and suspense.
Christian Grey. I loved his demeanor throughout the whole book. I love how much and how hard he loved.
Her expressions. She made the characters come to life.
When they first meet in his office for the first time. The attraction between was knee jerking and mind twisting.
YES! To heat up their sex life!
Feeling and emotion...she makes it much more real.
Erotica that is tasteful...if those can go together.
The depth ness of the charictors
Made me Laugh and blush
Great for boosting ur libido ladies lol

"Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James was on amazing read all rolled up into one. You are kept on the edge of your seat with these two characters...Anastasia Steel and Christian Grey. Even though this 'Dominate' was not my type of loving but this author kept it interesting enough that I would not stop reading until the end and you know what? I liked 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' I will definitely be reading the next two novels of this series by this author.
Having had some extended contact over the past 40 years or so with what is now called the BDSM community, I have to say this book reads true to reality for the behaviors and issues associated with folks into kinky sex. It all started for me when a one-night-stand "professional conference romance" led to the hotel room of a professional colleague where the woman asked me to tie her hands to the head frame of the bed. She explained that she couldn't orgasm with her hands free. I was hesitant, but complied. We both enjoyed the evening. The book is dead on about the desires and repulsions of newly met potential partners, from the first page to the last.
