Who needs the mall?
Yes! I loved it and when I finished it, I purchased it for a friend as a gift.
Julian was my favorite character. He evolved completely from start to finish, but one thing was constant - his desire to protect his family.
Julian again, although Dan Butler did a fantastic job with every character.
Julian's actions at the end of the book. You'll have to experience that for yourself to find out if you agree with me.
Why can I not find more Bentley Little on Audible? I hope Audible is working feverishly to make all his books available for download.
Anyone who would enjoy finding a hyperbolic political diatribe in the middle of what is presumably a ghost story. If I wanted the author's political opinions, I would hope to read them in an editorial - not a work of fiction.
No - I didn't bother finishing this one.
The narrator seemed fine.
I really liked this book, at fried the it took me a minute to get into it, but once all the haunting really started and the mother started researching the past and events that had happened on that land, I got hooked..I do hate that the grandfather and father had to die, but the dad knew what he had to do in order to keep that being away from his family and everyone else.. that part I kind of didn't understand but it was still a good part.
Life is too short to so many good books.
The dark scenes described by the author
His voice and intonation are appropriate
Yes, maybe it will be better into a TV series.
The Haunted starts as a common but promising supernatural novel. Common because it rests on a recurring elements in the genre stories, such as the family of father, mother and two children who will live in a small town.
Of course, the house is old and has a basement, from which emanates a bad smell. The author can create a drizzly weather, but the plot will develop without much coherence and creativity. Sometimes Bentley Little seems to know very well how to resolve and move on to an outcome.
I have to say that this is the first time I cried because of one of his books. I'm use to not being able to sleep. But the ending really did me in. To sacrifice ones self for your family is pure love. Little's writing has always drawn me in; and this was no different. He managed to bring out every one of my emotions with this this book. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!
i read this when i was a kid and i never understood the story the structure of the story i could not get a handle BUT when you do and stay with it cause im picky and this was great, not the most original in the chemistry of the character development but great in the outcome. This is some weirdish. Thank You i would Highly recommend to Ketchum Kilborn Laymon Fans. spooky stuff
