I have not read the print version.
It was a great read for traveling down the road. I really liked the plot, and thought the description of the scenery was great!
The narrator's voice is perfect for Nora Roberts' story.
The people in it. They're rich and full and fun.
No, but it sure makes me jumpy.
I didn't read the print version so I have no idea if the print is better or not
Great combination of suspense and romance. Love the character development.
I liked the variation in voices
The characters were easy to identify with and the plot very consuming. I listened to the book a second time within one week of the first and enjoyed it just as well. The complexity of the characters and the story line were very strong.
Top 10 for sure
There were so many, I would not want to narrow it down to a few
She was a fantastic narrator, it is so important to the enjoyment of a story.
When Abigail admitted her love for Brooks
I rarely write reviews but had to for this book. It was truly entertaining, I am in desperate need to find books just like it!
I'm new to audio books, and this book really grabbed my interest...loved it, could picture the events as I was listening to it. To me, the characters came to life. Very good book I thought
I have been listening to books for 35 years. I love to be entertained and the bonus is that I can do other things while listening!
Nora Roberts develops characters brilliantly. This book is her best. The story is great and the characters are great. When I finished the book, I missed them.
Fan of mystery & romance -- particularly of historical persuasion!"
Nora Robert''s stories never fail to keep me intrigued and this one was no exception. The narrator was very good -- and I find that with audio books, the narrator can make or break how much I like the book -- no matter how good the atoryline is.
While the narrator was excellent, the story was somewhat lacking. The beginning of the book built up a great adventure/mystery, then the romance starts and the mystery moves towards the background and the ending, in my opinion, was a bit anti-climactic.
It was better than wathcing it play out on the television. I actually skipped watching t.v. so that I could be still and see the characters that they so vividly described.
My first Mystery book, but I have already purchased another from Nora Roberts.
I bellieve she was the best possible reader for this book she was Abigail.
