Very interesting premise, didn't think I would like main character at first but she became understandable and compelling. Romance was good between to different personalities.
A fine love story, well-narrated, but the set up really could have had more suspense/conflict. I enjoyed the build up of the love story, but felt like I was waiting for something to happen in the action/suspense department. The fact that the (spoiler) protagonists main drive was to avoid being discovered and put down the bad guys fell rang hollow after a certain point, as no one ever found her. Ending was quite anticlimactic.
Love it. Liz was a strong young lady. loved her character. Ending was unexpected. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite author's.
I will and I have. I love the story. Nora's descriptions of the characters are compelling.
I felt all the angst of the young girl who began to experience life for the first time. I felt her fear as that new life crashed around her, and her fight for freedom.
Liz/Abigail were both different characters though the same person. Her growth and her need for survival were well written. But Brooks and his tenderness to draw Abigail out of her seclusion was my favorite
Yes, but it is long.
I loved this book. I recommend it to anyone just starting to read Nora's books.
Everything, the story is great, suspenseful on your edge, with a heart warming love story. Narration is bang on. You won't be disappointed.
